@lissydee -- when I went in for my appt this week my doctor mentioned that he wants me to do my glucose test at my next visit. He also said he will give me the tdap vaccine. This was not common practice with my first child (10 years ago) and I trust my OB and really don't think he would give me something that can harm LO. My scare is I keep hearing that it's an actual live virus they are injecting you with and you could get ill from it. Is this true? Cause people always said that about the flu vaccine and I've found out that's not the case. Anyway, thoughts would be appreciated.
Re: Thoughts from all you research mommies...
Praying unceasingly for a miracle. ALL welcome!
The flu mist IS a live virus and is not recommended for pregnant women.

I don't feel comfortable getting vaccines while pregnant, so I will be getting dtap and flu shot after baby is born.
