Belly band - anyone have a favorite?

I am to the point where I can still button my jeans, but don't ask me to sit down. I figure I can get a few more weeks out of them with a belly band, but there are so many different types! Does anyone have a favorite? Or are they all pretty much the same? Online ordering is a plus!

Re: Belly band - anyone have a favorite?

  • I did the deal with Belly Button Band where you get 2 free bands and only have to pay shipping. It's a great deal but I can't figure out how to button them into my pants, even after watching the video. That could just be me though.

  • I got the generic ones from target. Except they kept rolling down and I could never get the darn things to stay in place.

  • I use the target ones & did last time around too. I find them more secure (as with the other band brands I have tried) if I fold it down on top of itself

  • Thanks ladies. It is funny how different the opinions are. I guess I will just have to buy it and try it out. I don't wear pants that often (all dresses this summer), so I feel stupid spending the money on it if I only use it 4-5 times. Oh well, free might be the solution!

  • I just asked this the other day because I bought the tummy sleeve from Motherhood Maternity and it doesn't work for me. Even when folded down, it's way too big. I think I'm going to try the one from Target first.

Here's a link to the other thread - there are a bunch of great suggestions!

I bought an Ingrid & Isabel BellaBand from Target and then quickly went back and bought another.  They are awesome and I never have problems with them rolling down (though I should point out that I wear them up and over the tummy, rather than folded over...the latter position might be harder to keep in place?).
Same here. Got one, then immediately bought another. Love them. You can also buy them on Amazon.
  • I also have the target belly band. Not sure if it was mentioned in the other thread but it works much better if I put the band on first, pull up my pants over it and then fold the band over the pants if that makes sense. It seems to stay in place better and I don't have to adjust it as much.
  • I have two of the belly button bands and I like them. They work well and aren't too tight. I'm thinking about getting one of the full belly ones, too for more support. Last time I had a BeBand from Target and absolutely hated it. It was so tight and uncomfortable, I felt like a sausage in it.

@aks01‌ I had a hard time figuring out how to button the Belly Button too! What I do is button it on so it's all the way down my hips, right side out. Then once my pants are on, I fold it up so it's wrong side out and pull it down to where it's comfortable. Then I flip the top down so it's right side out again and it cover the buttons and is about half the thickness. I don't know if that's the "right" way to do it, but it works for me!

  • Milagros315 - It must be pregnancy brain because I remember reading that thread and it didn't even occur to me when I posted my question this morning! Thanks!

Thanks for all the suggestions ladies. We are going to have a car this weekend, so I may make a run to Old Navy or something and see how the actual maternity pants fit me. DH has been mocking me for the hair tie trick when Im at home.

I bought two of the target ones on Tuesday. I wore one to the JayZ Beyoncé concert and danced all night it stayed right in place!!

I can button my pants but it is not comfortable. I wore it unfolded as well. I looked at more expensive ones but went with these. Also I love Ingrid & Isabel products :)

  • I have the BeBand (I think from Target) and it is terrible.  It works great until I sit down and as soon as I get up it has rolled up over my waist and my pants are hanging down past my butt crack, sexy I know.  I MUCH prefer maternity pants, not as much adjusting required!

  • I have two of the belly button bands and I love them - not too tight and it doesn't move around because it buttons to your pants.  I also bought the BeBand from Target and it sucked.
