4) How are you feeling?
Still tired, but the fatigue has eased up a lot.  Mild nausea has made an appearance.  And I'm still moody and having trouble self-motivating.

5) Any upcoming appointments, milestones, rants or raves?

I was very relieved to see a heartbeat last week, and that the fetus was in the right place.

QOTW:  Have you used your pregnancy as an excuse to get out of doing something?  If so, what were the circumstances?

Totally.  I expect it to not be the first time either!  I met some women whom I was trying to befriend.  I realized that we had almost nothing in common but didn't have the heart to tell them.  So, I shamelessly blamed the pregnancy fatigue for being unable to see them for the foreseeable future, even though I am making an effort to socialize elsewhere.

1) 39w5d, 8/8, two days!! Time is moving at an absolute crawl right now.

4) A few real(ish) contractions the other night and baby is really, really low, so I feel a lot of pressure. Tired, of course.

5) I see my OB today. FX for progress! I made an acupuncture appt for Monday to see if she can help get things going (if baby hasn't arrived by then).

Yes. I skipped a family lunch this past weekend because it was too far away from my hospital. I have scaled way back on networking and business events as well.

This will be our 1st baby... have cute little boxer mix, Bella (see below), she's 6 and then also 2 kitties who are getting up there! Cleo is 15 and Spencer (below) is 14.

4) How are you feeling?
Same as @NeonNoon -- still a bit tired, but not as bad, unless I haven't had enough sleep. I got up 3x to pee last night, so that certainly doesn't help!  Also same - mild nausea/queasiness, but I feel a lot better after I eat 2 pickle spears! Unfortunately, I can't seem to eat them before lunch, so I'm queasy until then.  I'm having major trouble focusing on work... there's so many other things I'd rather be doing! But I also need to make $$! Ugh!

5) Any upcoming appointments, milestones, rants or raves?

I had my first 'official' OB appt yesterday and had full panel of blood work run with ultrasound week before, results came back (all the good stuff was good and all the bad stuff they check for was negative), so that was great news to hear! It was also time for my yearly physical, so I was nervous having that done while pregnant -- I did spot a little after appt, but it's all gone away now. So very relieved. Everything is great and that makes me so happy!   She did adjust the due date - pushed it back 5 days, so I updated my ticker.

My next appt is in 2 weeks, 10 week ultrasound w/ MaterniT21 test, with follow up 2 weeks later. So looking forward to that!

Hmmm... I have not really milked it yet, but I'm sure I will. It will definitely be a great way to get out of big, public or private functions, which I'm not much of a people person anyway! (I'm better one-on-one). My brother has been taking care of my mom and grandma (he gets paid -- full time job now) and they want me to visit... at least on weekends, but they've been sick and I told them I want to wait until they're better to visit -- don't want to risk anything!

Nope - this is our first of any kind

Better finally.  Still some fatigue but a million times better from where I was in the 1st tri.

Just had our appt with the OB this past Monday.  All looks and sounds great.  Next appt is Sept 2nd - our a/s!

Hmm - DH has been SO understanding and supportive that I really haven't needed to.  Though I guess a couple times I bailed on making dinner because of fatigue / ms.  DH typically cooks but I try to cook once a week - both times I told him I would make dinner but then I was just too tired so we ordered in instead.  DH was totally fine with it both times and insisted we just order since I was so tired.  But I am SURE I will be milking it more - I am saving it for times when I really need it.

My doc has me coming in monthly at this point.  She said she'll change that to every two weeks in the third trimester @mdogan29. So, my next appointment is not for another 3 weeks.

4. Was really in pain with constipation and vomiting this past weekend. Sucked. Feeling bit better but need to go back on Zofran. I've been trying to eat lots of fiber now! Glad I have this week off.

5. Not really. I did go browse at some cribs and furniture yesterday. Wow talk about overwhelming!

QOTW: Not yet but MH used me as an excuse not to go to a cookout an hour away :-S

I've only gained 10 lbs so far so my DR was happy about that but I can't wait to start running again.  I'm too big and lazy right now but Fall is my favorite time to run, so I'm a little bummed out that I will miss it this year.  My goal is to work on my speed so I can run faster.  I'm slower than molasses!

QOTW:  Have you used your pregnancy as an excuse to get out of doing something?  If so, what were the circumstances? I use it with DH all the time but he knows I'm usually joking!  I like teasing him to cut me some slack I'm growing his 4th child!!!  He mostly just laughs at me and tells me that I'm doing a great job growing his kid!  I'm also using it at work as an excuse to wear sandals.  My sandals are nice and pretty and they look just like strappy heels but without the heel!  So far no one has said anything!

Just had my NT scan and Mat21 blood draw.  NT scan looked great, nasal bone present, heartbeat and he/she is a wiggle worm! Should get bloodwork results end of next week.

4) How are you feeling? Tired. And I have a migraine. And pukey. Don't know if that is from the migraine or the pregnancy. Don't really care. I just want it to go away.

5) Any upcoming appointments, milestones, rants or raves? First prenatal appointment tomorrow, where I will beg for some Zofran. I'm rationing the leftover zofran from my last pregnancy and it's running low!

QOTW: Have you used your pregnancy as an excuse to get out of doing something? If so, what were the circumstances? Smells were really bothering me one day. I probably could have handled my son's dirty diaper if I had to, but I got my husband to change it instead.

Good luck! @NeonNoon‌ congrats on hearing hb! @2redtulips‌ good luck for progress, and safe , fast delivery! 1) 16 wks 3 days, mango! 2)42 at delivery! 3) ds 28 months , dog pearl 3... 4)finally got energy back and feeling great! 5) had appt Monday , verified team pink, everything good . Told will be doing p 17 shots. Had cerclage done. I'm confused I thought preterm labor was do to uti, but they are doing it like it was incompetent cervix:s....not happy about progesterone. It makes me so tired:( go back aug 25th! QOTW : noooo have toddler and h who works 6 days a week and elderly mom! I need to get away! Lol
