Kiindie Kozii Bottle Warmer?

Has anyone used the Kiindie Kozii bottle warmer? The only bad thing I've read is that it takes a long time to heat up. But I need a warmer that I know isn't going to over or under heat. DH has nerve damage and can't feel differences in temperatures. Room temp, body temp, and boiling all feel the same to him. Without a warmer I can trust to heat the milk to the right temp EVERY time, DH can't do night feedings without me also getting up to check the bottle temp. Every other faster warmer I've looked at uses hot steam and doesn't have automatic shut off, which can lead to over heating. Is the wait time on this warmer worth it or is there a better option out there? Also I plan on using the Avent Natural bottles. Do they fit in this warmer? Does anyone have experience using these bottles in this warmer? Whats the warm time for fridge cold breast milk in an Avent natural bottle?

Re: Kiindie Kozii Bottle Warmer?

  • This bottle warmer uses a temperature regulated water bath instead of steam, so its one of the few if not the only one on the market where it is actually impossible for a bottle to overheat. Its the biggest reason its at the top of my list. I like the thermometer idea, I know they make probe thermometers with a wireless pager that alerts you when its reached a set temperature. I think I'll look into those istead of a standard probe one, that way he doesn't have to stay near the kitchen while waiting for the bottle to heat up. Thanks for the idea! It'll have more long term use and will probably be tons cheaper too :D

  • We have it. DH uses it to feed while I am at work so I have not used it myself yet. But it does fit the avent bottles. We have the whole kiinde system but so far have only used the warmer.

  • I have it and it's great. It's the only warmer I've used so I can't attest to the speed compared to others but it heats quick enough for us. It fits our dr brown bottles just fine.
  • We use the bottle warmer, in fact the whole system. My husband uses it and hasn't said it takes too long. It comes with a little chart and you set the timer according to volume and fridge v frozen. It takes about 4 minutes usually to heat a bottle. I just wish the timed dinged when done. Right now the timer just makes a small ticking sounds and stops when done. I use (and love) the whole direct pump system. No bottles to wash, just nipples. :)
