I just got my book, when is the next book club due/how far to read? Or did it fizzle?

Well. I think mostly everyone finished it had already read the book. I will take a look and split the chapters so we can have a better, more concise discussion

And since this thread is just for me....
I sat in my car today for almost 2.5 hours waiting for TWO DIFFERENT roadside assistance tow trucks!!! First time, battery needed to be jumped. Waited 45 minutes. As I was driving seven miles to advance auto to get a new battery my car shut off WHILE DRIVING. Had to call again. And wait almost an hour. And I stalled in the midst of traffic being diverted because of an earlier accident.
So now I have no car. And I can't afford a repair more than a new battery right now.

It was not a good day

And I always think it's hysterical to see "we can't do cloth because it's so hard during those sleepless newborn days." Ummmm my nb slept like the dead. It's the 15 months after that where my sleep is close to zero

Um, yuck. That really sucks.

Also, I always think the same thing! Plus, it's not like the choice is between diapers versus not having to change diapers, where you'd be like, 'Well let's not make it more difficult than necessary.' I changed so many poopy clothes in the few short days before A's stump fell off. It would have been easier to have used cloth all along. So this time around I got lower rise diapers.

TJ don't worry. P will be a wonderful REST OF HER LIFE sleeper. I'd take a wakey nb over a wakey rest-of-his-toddler life toddlerhood

Also, do I need a special foot on my sewing machine to sew a zipper? Is it one of the kinds that come with the machine?

Yeah, there's a zipper foot. Very narrow. Usually comes with the machine.

ITK! I just read that Netflix is positive AD is coming back for a 5th season, they just don't know when yet. I didn't want to page you, so I decided to tack on to your own thread.

and because i'm legit riled up again, 2 different women came up to me in the store today and after finding out #4 was another boy told me how very sorry they were for me.  I politely told them we were pretty excited about it, but it took every ounce of self control in this fat lady's body not to beat them with the bag of apples i was holding.

I would have cheered you on.  

Because we have a girl and a boy everyone assumes we are now complete.

No we are stopping at two because two is all we can financially afford right now.  If you would like write me a check for a small sum of money I will gladly increase our family size.  Also, I don't intend on getting pregnant while my husband goes back to school for a masters degree, I work full time, and we try to potty train a toddler and sleep train an infant.

I think my new response, should anyone feel the need to address my feelings about my girls, is going to be, 'Yes, both of my children are such major disappointments to me based on their lack of a penis.' And then maybe wipe a big tear away as it rolls down my cheek. Add a sniffle for good measure.

ooh, there's an idea.  what do you say, ITK?  i'll even keep this one through the little tiny newborn phase until yours is born and then we can switch off.  it's the only logical thing to do.

But I like the newborn phase. Maybe you can switch one of your older ones with TJ, and then once I've gotten the newborn snuggles we can arrange a swap.

Plus I mean, what if this kid isn't as cute as your others? I can't be buying sight unseen.

Because the it will be perfect all around, we'll have have the perfect 50/50 families with boys and girls.

We get this constantly, "oh, a boy and a girl! How perfect. Now you can be done!"

WTAF is wrong with people? I personally think there's something very special about families where the children are all the same sex.  One of my best friends growing up was one of four girls and her house was the BEST!
