Sleep times

Dd is sleeping a solid 11 hours at night and I couldn't be happier. She goes down at 7 and is up between 6 and 6:30 every day. When she gets up she still seems tired. She has the bags under her eyes and she can be whiny and cranky at times. I've tried giving her a bottle in the dark in case she's just waking up due to hunger but she won't go back down. And she will only nap a max of 2 hours a day. It doesn't matter if she sleeps an hour in the morning and an hour in the afternoon, if she skips her morning nap altogether or anything in between. Are any other lo's doing this? Is there a way to help her get more sleep so she's not so tired or is she getting enough even though she looks exhausted?

It sounds like she's in that in btwn phase where she's transitioning from two naps to one. My first went through that around this age and was super miserable for awhile. She ended up taking a 2-3hr nap from 11-2 ( ish ) and once she settled into that schedule she was much happier. 11 hrs is a normal amount of sleep at night ( at least for both my girls) I just think the naps need to get worked out.

Dd has the exact same sleep times as yours. I use to feed her in the dark and put her back down ( she would snooze for another 30-40 mins ) but that doesn't seem to be happening anymore. Some days she seems tired still in the morning but I look at myself
, I always feel groggy for a bit after I wake up. Mine def still needs her morning nap, she would be a wreck without it. ( she only takes 2 short naps ) and by bedtime she's exhausted. The 11 hours plus 2 hours worth of naps should be enough at this age.

My DD still wakes up every 2 hours! Sometimes every hour. :(

Just wanted to add that our nurse told us the bags under DD's eyes could be from low iron as well. But I agree that the transition of cutting out a nap sounds like it could very well be the culprit.

Emily's been working on cutting out her second nap this week :( I wish she'd continue with two for a while longer. On the other hand, it's a little easier to get her to go to sleep at bed time without that second one.

DS has a puffy face in the mornings I assumed it was his allergies.
He is currently sleeping from about 9 to 8 with 1 to 2 wakeups. He is cutting 4 top teeth. His naps have been bad this week a couple of days I resorted to putting him in the car to sleep. He is all over the place with naps. Some days one long nap 2 hours and some days 3 very short naps 15-30m.
Last week he was STTN, easy (ha) come, easy go.

So sorry to those of you who are still up multiple times at night :(@Salemkitty13‌ good point. My allergies have been bothering me lately but the thought of her eyes being puffy never occurred to me
