I was brought up to think a glass of wine with dinner was perfectly normal. I live in an area where there's usually wine on the table or microbrews in the fridge. Unless someone has a history of alcoholism, I do not see the problem.
And GASP OHMAHGAWD I will have a glass of wine (or two) in front of my children. I may even take them into wineries with me (if the environment and my kids' mood/manners allows for it).
Crucify me now!
Totally agree. We took our son to Napa with us about six months ago. We got a few side eyes while wine tasting. Oh well we all had a blast.
