Continuing on the TV theme....

All the GOT talk reminded me about Outlander.  Who else is anxiously awaiting its arrival?  I remember several of us mentioning it in book threads and wondered who else is going to be watching it and what are your thoughts so far?  I believe STARZ is running it beginning August.  I want to know if they will just cover the first book or more than one, the way the did with the White Queen series and GOT.

I am anxiously awaiting it's premier on August 9th!  I've seen some of the trailers, and follow D.  Gabaldon Facebook.  Of course the actors playing the characters are not what I pictured in my head, but I'm going to keep an open mind.  I am reading the new book now, it's good - but isn't as good as some of the others IMO  (

I'm halfway through the first book so I'm hoping I can finish it before the series catches up to where I am.  I've read plot summaries of all the books because I am weird like that so I know where it is going.  It's the only way I can put down a book series and get things done.
