TTC After a Loss

Dizziness around O anyone?

Does anyone else experience dizziness or nausea around the time of ovulation?

This morning I woke up feeling so dizzy I could hardly get out of bed. I was dry heaving to the extent that DH ran and got a bucket for me. I think I would have thrown up if there had been anything in my stomach. Thank goodness Wed. is my day off from work. I've been sitting on the couch all morning. I'm having very minor pain on my right ovary, which is the side with the endo cyst. But the pain is not so bad I would think it would cause dizziness. I suspect I'm O-ing, or at least that my body is trying to O, as I had peaks on my monitor yesterday and the day before (we're benched but I'm still tracking). No temp shift yet, though.

I think I'm going to send a message to my RE just in case he can shed some light on this issue.

Re: Dizziness around O anyone?

  • I haven't experienced dizziness or nausea to the point of dry heaving or vomiting, but I have noticed post-loss that I do feel nauseous around O time.  Like a car-sick type of nausea.  Very possible I've always felt that way but wasn't paying close attention to it?  Hope you feel better soon!

  • not nauseousness on it's own, but pain that's bad enough to cause it. I've always had some minor pain associated with O'ing, but this month (my first "regular" cycle post m/c) I've been having some pretty bad pain. I'm supposed to go out today, and I think I'm going to make sure I'm not driving before I take a tramadol =(

I get dizzy around O time. Last month it was so bad that I felt like I could fall over while walking. I'm also on clomid and a trigger, so I don't know if my experience will help or if it's medication related! I hope you feel better!

  • I am starting to feel better as the day goes on. So weird! I've gotten minor waves of nausea and dizziness before around O time, but usually they never last more than a few seconds or minutes. This was intense.
