Intro...living child, prior BFPs and losses mentioned

I've been lurking for a while and decided bravely to post today. Here's my shortened intro. ME: 23 DH: 24 Married October 17, 2009 Stopped Birth Control November 2009, Began TTC M/C January 2011, unknown gestational age, likely chemical pregnancy. 2 Unsuccessful Rounds of Clomid in late 2011 (suspected PCOS) Referred to Fertility Specialist February 2012 DX with PCOS & Endometriosis April 2012 Successful lysis of adhesions & fallopian tube/uterine check April 2012 First Successful Round of Clomid May 2012 Conceived May of 2012 BFP on June 2nd, 2012. DD: 1 year old now...born January 30, 2013 Stopped Birth Control September of 2013 First Period Since Stopping Birth Control on December 16th, 2013 TTC #2 since December 21st, 2013 Progesterone Test 01/06/2014 Negative for Ovulation Started round of Provera January 21st, 2014. Surprise BFP February 6th, 2014, without having used Clomid Spotting began February 15th, 2014. M/C February 16th, 2014 at approximately 6w3d. Chemical Pregnancy, baby never developed. 05/12/2014 Started 50 mg Clomid 05/16/2014 Ended 50 mg Clomid 05/28/2014 Negative "Day 21" progesterone bloodwork 06/06/2014 BFP!!! 06/09/2014, beta HCG 75 06/12/2014 beta HCG 242! 06/20/2014 beta HCG 2823! 06/26/2014 m/c at 6w1d 07/21/2013 diagnosed with APS, Factor V, and MTHFR mutation PCOS, APS, Factor V, and MTHFR...in the words of my doctor, "It is a MIRACLE you have one living child." I am beyond thankful for the child I have of course...but we are devastated by this news that we are facing so many obstacles, as we still want to expand our family. He is recommending treatment with Letrazole to conceive, and treatment with Lovenox once we conceive to reduce our risk of pregnancy loss. I'm terrified that there are more losses in our future. Has anyone been diagnosed with multiple disorders like this and still had success with Lovenox treatment? I so want my rainbow...

Very sorry for your losses. We don't generally have success stories here since we are a TTCAL board. I suggest lurking on PgAL. There are all different kinds of dx's over there. You might get more insight into exactly what you are facing.

Could you also change you avatar? If you plan on being a member of the board it would be requested. We don't generally have siggy pics or avatars of young children. Many ladies refrain from posting about them as well to keep from hurting others. The ladies here are at ALL points of their journey. It can be really hard for us to see a young child. In my case your LO is around the age my daughter should have been. It's just hard seeing the pic each time you post. I hope you'll understand.

Thank you everyone for your condolences. I'll still be posting here and responding to others' posts, because we ARE TTCAL. However, I've taken the advice and will definitely be lurking on PGAL too...to see if I can find out more about my diagnoses. I see a Hematologist on Tuesday of next week. Wish me luck!

I don't have a success story, but I am heterozygous for Factor V and will need to take Lovenox when/if I become pregnant again. I was diagnosed 14 or so years ago, so I know quite a bit about the disorder at this point. Feel free to PM me if you have any questions.

UPDATE:

After 3 failed Femara cycles since my last post with lots of BFNs, we have decided to "cleanse" from fertility meds for a few months as I've got two large cysts (about 5 cm in diameter) on my right ovary. My RE says he doesn't want to prescribe anything else until those resolve.

The plan after they resolve is to go back on Clomid rather than the Femara, and extend the treatment from 5 days to 10. He also wants to use HCG triggers mid-cycle, which will be a first for me, so I'm pretty frightened.

Does anyone have any experience using triggers? What can you tell me about them?

But, could you please edit your title? I don't think there is a need for a warning on losses mentioned. However, now you have bumped an old thread that has siggies for some women that have moved on that may catch others off guard (it was for me). Can you add a siggy warning to the title? Or in the future perhaps just start a new thread.

I'm so sorry for your loss and that you find yourself here. I know that sharing your story is very important but reading that wall of text was really difficult. There are so many ladies here that wont have any idea what any of that means.

As for your comment about your LO being a miracle, as much as I'm happy for you - I was really caught off guard. I have some of the conditions you mentioned and a few more significant structural ones and this was just a huge reminder that I may never get my rainbow.

Finally, show some support to get some support. bumping up your old thread with more questions is in poor taste. We are not google.

Sorry I offended anyone by posting an update, I didn't realize that was a no-no and thought I was using appropriate warnings in the title. Maybe it's just better if I stay off of here. I seem to get hostility wherever I go.

@petitchou1019: I did apologize that my post offended three people. But I'll also state my honest opinion, every time, without fail, that I have posted on ANY of the boards here on The Bump, SOMEONE has been offended by SOMETHING I said. You cannot please everyone. Something that is not offensive to one person IS offensive to another, and it seems that unless you've been on these boards 24/7 365 for years, you're an outsider and unwelcome anywhere. IMO, it just seems very unfriendly for someone new to have to walk on eggshells on every single board on this site and be hanged for every minor infraction. I'm not the only one that's made this observation. Secondly, I did not specifically say TTCAL was the hostile board. I said I don't seem to fit here.

@cavewmn: I definitely did not realize that bumping the board would bring up tickers from other members...I can't even see tickers on my device.  My apologies in that department.

@Sterling13 & @PinkCamino: Is it an unwritten rule that I have to post on other posts before posting one of my own? I of course was going to read other boards and comment, just didn't realize that I had to do that before I updated.

@WickedSugar: Where on Earth did I DEMAND support? I asked a simple question! Secondly, I just got back here. No one has even given me time to give any support. See my response above. Thirdly, I did NOT call out this board specifically. My post on New to The Bump board stated that I had received hostility on every board I'd posted on so far, AND that I didn't seem to fit on TTCAL either. I did not demonize TTCAL.

No worries, I'm out of here, don't want to ruffle any more feathers. I really am truly sorry to those I offended. I suppose I'm not as sensitive to these issues as some others and perhaps can't see it as well from your perspectives. Hopefully I'll find somewhere I belong on Baby Center.

There are no rules, it's common sense. Take IRL friends for example, do you call them to only update about yourself? Do you ever taken the time to see how they are coping or handling their situation? Do you take time to see what's going on in their lives and encourage and support them? Well, TTCAL is no different. You're being selfish and greedy, coming here spewing that timeline and then not showing your face for 3 months.I don't care if you had the intention to eventually show support because the facts are that you have not showed anyone an ounce of support in the last 3 months. Not one hug, not one encouraging word. Nothing. So, to be perfectly honest, I could care less that you're dealing with cysts and failed cycles. It's funny, because had you been a member of this community over these last 3 months I can assure you that the ladies here would have wrapped you up in hugs and showed you so much love because of your struggles - instead you decided to bump up an old thread to update a bunch of women who basically have no fucking idea who you are which bumped up a ton of tickers along the way. Bravo.

Also, and this is really personal because I just fucking hate people who are passive aggressive. Own your mistake, apologize and simply move on. Playing this passive aggressive card and playing the victim is really annoying. Seriously, it's childish and immature. Board bashing is passive aggressive, telling the ladies here that you're sorry but not sorry because you're not sensitive is passive aggressive.

Now, own it or move on.
