Hi ladies!!!! I know many of you from PgAl and I am so happy to be joining you on this side after the birth of my beautiful rainbow, Peter, on  July 16th. I am still in shock that he is here, and I am currently doing the following things; watching him sleep, making sure he is still  breathing, and overthinking every little noise and squeak he makes. For those of you who I don't know yet, my info and history is in my siggy and it's pretty straightforward! I think that I will most likely lurk for now and get a feel for the board, but I will try to offer support as much as I can. Life with a 3 1/2 year old and now a newborn is challenging, but so worth it. We already made one trip back to the peds office because Peter's umbilical cord got infected... poor guy. However, he is eating and sleeping like a champ and has a great personality! I look forward to getting to know you other lovely ladies and for those PgAl loves I know.... HI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

Married my awesome guy on 12/27/08

DD Lucy Rae born on 11/16/2010

Loss #1: November 29, 2012 at 8w1d

Loss #2: June 9, 2013 at 13w (Amelia Grace)

BFP #4: We are having a BOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Peter Matthew was born on July 16, 2014!!! Welcome to our family!

    Congrats Hun! I'm sorry he had an infection, Finn had the same issue :(. It healed just nicely though, FX Peters heals quickly :).

    Congrats on your baby boy! Happy to see you here. (I also have a 3 1/2 year old and now an infant. It was a big challenge when baby came along, but things are becoming more routine now and easier.)

    Thank you so much for the warm welcome!! We are adjusting the best we can. My mom has been here for like 2 weeks and I was so happy to have her here to help with Lucy... And then she got really sick. :( we aren't sure what she has but it's basically just a fever. She isn't sure if she has some sort of infection (got a lot of water in her ears on vacation) or a virus. I, of course, had a nervous breakdown thinking about a virus in my house with a 5 day old baby. But when we took him to the ped yesterday she said there is nothing we can do, to keep him away and if any fever arises to head to the ER. So my mom has been locked in the guest room for 2 1/2 days and hasn't been near Peter. No one else that has been here has anything which is weird. But all I can do is pray, wash hands, and keep her away. It's so stressful bc my mom feels awful and I'm a worried mess. I'm just hoping she has some sort of infection (ear, sinus, etc) that's not contagious. Sorry for the vent, but I needed to get it out!! If you have any thoughts, prayers, or works of encouragement to send id appreciate it.
