It's scheduled--trigger tomorrow night; DH and I arrive at 6:30 am Thursday for "deposit"; insemination at 8:00 am.
A couple of questions:
1. I'm planning on going in to work as usual after the IUI (they didn't say not to). What did those of you who have had IUIs do afterward? Did you rest?
2. I have two 15 mm follicles that they are sure will be the right size to trigger tomorrow night, as well as two 12 mm that the nurse says may or may not mature and release (I also have about a zillion at 11 and under, apparently, but those obviously don't count). Do you think it's likely that the 12 mms will catch up? I'm not too enthusiastic about attempting IUI with only two of my withered old eggs....
Anyway, positive thoughts, right? [-O<

Re: IUI Thursday
I did not work after my IUIs, but that was a personal decision. I was told I could definitely work and go for a brisk walk after the procedure; I chose to watch crappy TV and nap instead.
I would normally trigger with one or two follies in the ideal range with a couple of stragglers. For risk of multiples, I don't think they'd want you to have any more than that.
GL and keep us posted!!!

I stayed on the table for a few minutes and it was life as normal (without over doing it, of course). I've heard people say they rested and they went about life normally and the results were not any better by resting. One lady said she rested the first two times with no luck and the third time she had stuff to do and did it and that one took. The sperm has half the battle done for since it is an IUI and I have been re-assured they don't fall out!! LOL
FX for you!!!!
TTC #1 with IUI and donor sperm
First IUI May, 2014, Clomid + Trigger = BFN
Second IUI July, 2014, Clomid + Trigger = BFN
Third IUI Dec, 2014, Femara + Follistim + Trigger = BFN
Fourth IUI Feb 2015, Femara + Follistim + Trigger = C/P
I definitely didn't need to rest, it felt similar to an exam.
When I did my triggers, they were 16& 18 I think.
FX for you. I wish you luck!
