I agree, don't be embarrassed! I met DH on okcupid. I have encouraged many people to try it!

FTM/28/married 4yrs & together 9+ yrs/ started dating after I helped him study all night for a history final exam/ HS teacher/DS determined to choose his own birthday: my water broke the day before the scheduled c-section (breech)/loves family & pup snuggles, running, DIY, singing, reading, video games/ jumping in late to the bump now that I'm getting nervous about returning to work and haven't been able to fit with the schedules of the local mom groups.

I think I just never thought I'd try online dating. Was on it for less than 24 hrs before I met SO. After telling people about it, more and more people I'm close with tell me they've tried online dating.

Im guessing by your avatar that you are in the Baltimore area? We just moved up to here from College Park area (we are close to BWI). I'm originally from FL but DH is from Silver Spring

31, FTM of DD. Born in CA, moved to CO at 8. Met DH on World of Warcraft and moved to WI to be with him. Together 7 years, married 2.5. Shitty childhood (and teen years into early 20s... *cough*). Chronic depression (ohai PPD as well, woo!), social anxiety, possible bipolar disorder (runs in family), and mild paranoia now that I'm a mom. 3 nieces, 2 nephews, all but one related by marriage. Amateur photographer (in my head, maybe >.>). Loves cats, music, reading, chai. Hates being cold, most bugs, writer's block, and when the internet is down. :P

ETA some things that are important to know when dealing with me. ^^;;

I grew up 10 minutes from BWI, in Howard County. I have relocated to Carroll County and live about 40 minutes from that area now. I go to HoCo almost every week to visit my parents, they live in the house that I grew up in.
