Technically, the most recent would probably be when we were out today, and some girls were saying he was cute. I think most babies get that, though, so I'm also going to share a compliment one of his daycare ladies gave him yesterday. She was complimenting him on his temperament--always in a good mood, behaves well, etc., and said we must be doing something right. I would love to take credit for that, but he's always been a pretty easygoing baby so I don't know how much we have influenced his temperament so far. (He has started some tantrums with us sometimes when he doesn't get his way, but I guess he doesn't do that for them yet!)
And Today he got a "compliment" on his walking abilities - he has really only been a walker for about 5 days and he doesn't know what to do with his arms yet, so he sticks them straight up in the air. The lady at the play place thought that was hilarious. But the REAL compliment that we get basically everyday is about his eyes. They are bright blue and they really are stunning (if I do say so myself). I don't think I will ever get sick of hearing it.
Anna's super-chatty, and she loves to say "haaaaiiiiii" whenever she sees someone new. We were checking out of my physical therapy appointment the other day, and she greeted three people as they came into the office People always compliment her speech and say how friendly she is.
