Re: FFFC

  • I called out sick today cause I'm utterly exhausted :-?? (I haven't called out since December so it's not that bad) I'm feeling slightly guilty tho.

  • I have zero energy to clean anything around the house anymore. Ever.

I usually hand was the dishes every day. I typically use the dishwasher about 4 times a year at most. Last night will make the 3rd time using it since I've been pregnant. So lazy.

  • I am having the worst time quiting smoking. I hate the Damn habit but it's really difficult when my SO lights one up near me. They are starting to make me sick so I should be fine in terms of stopping. I just feel like a horrible person :(

I had a sex dream last night that did not involve my husband.  :-S I'm slightly mortified because it was pretty vivid.

This happened to me the other night and it was awesome. I had that first time fluttery feeling when I woke up, which was also awesome because I haven't felt that in a looooong time (been with K over 11 years). I didn't feel guilty. However, when I dream I'm with someone else, he is always slightly K, or in part of the dream he is K even though I know he's this other person...it is weird. I rarely dream about anyone else and would agree it is a weird pregnancy thing?
  • I wonder if my next kid will be as cute as my first. For realz, my DD is fucking adorable--in my UNBIASED opinion ;)

I asked the same question to my DH the other day.

  • My SO was complaining that I haven't been doing as much around the house last night while he was at work.  So I spent last night relaxing and then got up early this morning and cleaned the house, folded and put away the laundry I've been avoiding for a few weeks, and made our bed.  It wasn't a big deal because I always wake up about 2 hours before I need to and about an hour and a half before he gets home.  He was so impressed that I got everything done last night.
  • @SNLT1012‌ that's really nice of you, I would have told him to shove it up his ass. Oops!
LOL.  He's been doing a TON of work around the house (we just bought it in May) and outside, so I can't be a dick.
  • I am still mad at TB because I can't get my tickers to work lol. And It's probably my fault but I am still blaming TB. XD

Ok I guess he gets a pass :) mine doesn't though because he thinks that when he comes home from his job he is a special butterfly that can only delicately perch on the couch and then play video games after dinner.
LOL at that description.  Mine works nights, 5 nights one week, 3 the next.  On his days off after a night shift he comes home and doesn't even go to sleep.  In 2 months he's replaced carpeting in 3 different rooms with hardwood, built a brick patio, landscaped the yard, and started finishing the basement.  I really owe it to him to fold and put away my own laundry.
  • I bought a pair of maternity work pants last week. Target was having a really good sale. I want to start wearing them already, they are so comfortable.

Why don't you use your dishwasher?  I think it has been proven that they use less water than hand washing dishes, and I can't think of any other reason not to use it if you have it.

We live in a rental house right now and it really really sucks. So I've just gotten used to always hand washing things.

I didn't think DS1 was a very cute newborn (I still loved him to pieces and think he is adorable now). Then when DS2 was born I thought he was the cutest thing ever. Their baby pictures look identical, to the point that people thought we were sending them DS1's baby picture after DS2 was born.

You're not a horrible person.  All you can do is your best.  It's not an easy habit to give up.  Maybe it would help if your SO was lighting up elsewhere?  I'm a former smoker and stopped when I found out - luckily the smell makes me feel gross, so it was a bit easier.  Good luck to you!  You can do this :)

  • I never stopped wearing maternity clothes from #1. I like how the shirts are longer to cover my midsection better and you can't beat stretchy waistbands that allow for extra doughnuts at work.

  • babys2014 Walmart has $0.88 test and I confess that I bought one the other day.  My FRER was pretty light and my internet cheapie dip sticks never got dark before I ran out of those, too.  I just wanted to see a dark line.  I would have bought five of those things if they had them in stock.  But they only had one.

mayaruthie  I will never understand the resistance to buying/wearing maternity clothes.  They are amazing.  I also never stopped wearing them after #1.

I’m a modern man, a man for the millennium. Digital and smoke free. A diversified multi-cultural, post-modern deconstruction that is anatomically and ecologically incorrect. I’ve been up linked and downloaded, I’ve been inputted and outsourced, I know the upside of downsizing, I know the downside of upgrading. I’m a high-tech low-life. A cutting edge, state-of-the-art bi-coastal multi-tasker and I can give you a gigabyte in a nanosecond! I’m new wave, but I’m old school and my inner child is outward bound. I’m a hot-wired, heat seeking, warm-hearted cool customer, voice activated and bio-degradable. I interface with my database, my database is in cyberspace, so I’m interactive, I’m hyperactive and from time to time I’m radioactive.

  • I'm somewhat of a masochist I guess. I kinda like doing my Lovenox injections. I look forward to them every morning lol. Wtf?
    Weirdo.

  • DS is getting his 6 month shots today and I am a huge weenie.  I always make DH take off work to come to appointments with me to help hold him down during the shots because I cry the whole time when I do it.  DS isn't even that traumatized by it, so I don't know why it gets to me so much and I'm all about him getting the shots, too.  But yeah, every. single. time.  I cry a little bit.

  • I almost puked on the vet today. My little one was all screamy the past few days and we took him in and when we finally were in a room it smelled like shit and bleach so I did my best but finally towards the end I got up and ran out to the car where I dry heaved in the parking lot.

I think I worked myself up googling what was wrong with my baby dog.

Then I dropped my husband off at work and I almost vommed on our mechanic because he smells like fucking garbage.
