Gerber soothe drops questions

1. It says to give five drops a day. Do these have to be given at five different times or can they be given at one or two feedings?

2. If I have to give these at five diffeeent feedings, when LO starts daycare can I put a drop in a refrigerated bottle of breastmilk that will be warmed (the directions say not to mix with hot formula or food)?

3. If no to #2, any ideas on how I can get five drops a day into LO when he starts dadaycare? I guess I can ask them to do it somehow, but I'd like to avoid the hassle of bringing the bottle back and forth (remembering it) and having them deal with it.

I just put 5 drops once a day in a bottle. She eats around 10pm before she falls asleep. I just put it in that bottle cause it's easier for me to remember.

Also...I just read the box and it says five once a day! Somehow I missed that. I claim sleep deprivation.

I try to get all five in when LO fusses during a diaper change or put it on my boob right before he gets on to eat. I don't put it in his bottle because five drops is so minuscule and if he doesn't eat every last drop he may be missing them all together.

Apparently I thought my nipples had a larger surface area than they do and tried to put all five drops on at once. I'll scale back next time! Make the kid latch on a couple times!

I found the easiest way is to put the drops onto a spoon, my LO takes them fine that way. They have been a life saver for us.

@aliciasoppe I haven't seen any improvement in reflux yet but it seems to have improved his gas & constipation from formula. For reflux I find better results in Wellement's gripe water -- esp for reflux hiccups. 

OK, thanks! We aren't sure if it's reflux or dairy issues but looking for something other than the zantac we are using now..
