On vacation, still raining, day two. The kids are going nuts being shut in this small condo space with limited toys. So much so that Ethan has been running back and forth and the downstairs neighbors came up to yell at us. DH told them he's one and stir crazy due to the weather, there's nothing we can do. She said her kids are 7 and 12 and have never run in the house. Ok. DH said enjoy your vacation and shut the door in her face. That could have gone better. There could be some awkward encounters this week.

I LOVE this weather.  I'm wearing a sweater and feel comfortable for the first time in a month.  I am glad it's going to be winter during my very preggo months.  I think I'll like it more than summer.

Yeah, it was between 8 and 9, not that early. She said she's going to have her kids make tons of noise tonight to keep my kids up. Very mature. We are on the top floor and she's on the second. I'm going to laugh if she pisses the first floor neighbors off. We have a train that runs in front of our house at home. My kids can sleep through a lot.

@beebopandbuddy, I say the neighbors below you can suck it. Seriously?? She has a 7 and 12 year old and they never ran around? Then they were robbed of early childhood. Poor kids. Hopefully the rest of your vacation is lovely!!

Mason was jumping on the trampoline last night and fell weird. Now he's favoring his leg and saying it hurts him. I can't decide what to do because one minute he's walking and running fine and the next he's falling and saying it hurts. I took him to DC and asked them to call me if he seems like it's not getting better as he walks on it. I made him an appt for after work, but now I wonder if I should just get him in sooner.

Kids are hard!

@BeeBopandBuddy, I just read your follow up and I'm even more annoyed. She's seriously just a bitch. I know everyone could be going through something we don't always know about, but I hope I can always find the light and try to never be that miserable!

It's unseasonably cold here too. Like a high of 57*. Why couldn't it have been like this 2 summers ago when I was the size of a house and a sweaty mess? It's a nice change although I'd like to hit up the beach 1 time this summer, sheesh.

I was home with DS 1/2 day Monday and all day yesterday. He woke up from his nap and he was a beast. Nothing got him to stop crying until I actually yelled out to him. Not yelled at him. He finally realized "Oh shit, I'm a hot mess" then he was acting more normal. He had cheerios and an oreo for dinner. Its literally the only thing he'd eat and I don't give a crap. He ate.

I just realized I won't work 1 full week this month. I kind of like it.

DH brought me home a donut the size of my head. He knew how awful DS has been and he's been working midnights so he's literally no help. For the record DS has been sick too but he was feeling much better late Monday afternoon.

It's raining here and in the 80's I think? Nasty enough to give me frizzy looking hair and feel uncomfortable. I got my turkey sandwich today (win!) so I don't have to eat a cheese sandwich again.

Only she also throws away her sippy cups when they get empty and comes in to me saying "good girl!" Now, if I can't find her cup I know to look in the trash.

Hahaha...... W learned the trash trick and threw EVERYTHING away for awhile. The good news is... now she only throws trash away, and you can be like hey - throw this snickers wrapper away and never have to leave the sofa!

I went off on my pregnant coworker that I hate during our staff meeting yesterday. She goes on maternity leave on Friday, I just kept telling myself to stay calm, just a few more days. It didn't work. She started berating and belittling me in the meeting and I just lost my shit. I walked out of the meeting and didn't return. That's a first for me. I'm still pissed today and I hope she avoids me, because I have a lot more that I want to say and probably shouldn't.

So I told her that I do know how to push deadlines, that's why her spreadsheet won't be ready until Thursday. She then told me if I want to go on vacation for 3 days, I should remember to do my job first. This bitch went to Hawaii last month and didn't finish drafting a brief for the court before she left. I worked until 2am 3 days in a row to get it done. She can fuck herself.

@MrsKipper we had the same thing for a while. He's been obsessed with finding "yuckies" on the floor ever since and goes running into the kitchen to throw whatever away. Throwing the cup in is how he started to say the word "shit." MOTY.

Spoof have you tried the apple cider vinegar and a drop of dawn dish soap? Cover in plastic wrap and put a few holes. That always works for us. We had then horrible last summer. This year it's moths. So strange.

I'm so jealous of the cooler weather you guys are having. The humidity here is just unbearable. I pulled a muscle in my neck yesterday and I really should put some heat on it but I'm already so sticky and sweaty that I haven't done it yet.

Definite negative on FRER. Super faint line on a Wondfo. I can't get a picture of it. I'm going to say I got a bad batch of Wondfos. I looked them up, but there weren't other reported problems with them.

My mom wants to talk to me about her woes taking care of my grandpa multiple times per day. I have to screen her calls. He's in an assisted living home and per her stories is getting really mean and combative. Sounds about right for a 96 yr old who is recovering from a broken hip. Anyway, she can take a 10 minute story and turn it in to 40 (SHOCKING that we're related). She caught him on video 'treating her like absolute trash and being verbally abusive.' She just drove here to show me her "shocking" video. It was basically him telling her to get out, and trying to go sit down, and my mom following him demanding to know why he was being so mean, and quizzing him if he remembered doing x y & z. She was basically badgering him. He was like, yes, that's how I feel and now I want you to leave. She said she showed the whole staff the video, and I'm sure their reaction was like mine..... she was in the wrong. The only thing he did say was, "leave and never come back, and I mean never." Then again, he is fucking cray. He told the entire cafeteria that the 26yo receptionist has a venereal disease because she wouldn't buy him a lottery ticket, and asked me if I wanted her to be my grandma. Lololol **where the fuck are my spaces***

So my mom is still in the building. She's in the break room on the phone; loudest person ever. She has called 3 people to tell them stories about my grandpa. It's pretty much what she does all fucking day long.

I'm loving this weather. Probably because I feel gigantic and can't stop sweating. I woke up this morning at 220, my normal 2nd pee time, and was soaked through my shirt, even with the fan propped in the window and blowing in the 45 degree air. I have been dealing with the insurance company for hours trying to get a stupid breast pump. It's ridiculous how difficult it is, not to mention Judgey McJudgerson who told me I really should wait until the baby is a month old before I start pumping so I'm sure I'm going to stick with BF. Dude. You're a CSR for an insurance company, not a BF expert. I'm pumping from day 1. Leave me a lone.

It's her dad. She's just really fucking dramatic. I know it's a lot of work for her to be in charge of his stuff, but if it weren't this, it would be some other crisis for her never-ending stories. This is the flavor of 2014. Today she spent 12 minutes running a piece of paper over to the facility, and over an hour telling everyone how inconvenient it was to have to do that in the middle of her day. Yesterday, she had to deal with him for two hours, but spent the better part of two days calling everyone to tell them the story. Christ woman.

It's possible it's not there. What I see is very faint.
