PISA Making a Clicking Sound

My PISA is clicking lightly with every suction. The faceplate is moving slightly with every suction, but I can't seem to get faceplate on more securely. My output seems slightly lower today, but I also have a cold so it's hard to know if it's affecting suction power. Does faceplate have to be on securely in order to be effective?

Try changing the white membranes. I also find I get clicking when the connectors are loose. It means something is loose and it will affect your output if not fixed. I use the Symphony rather than PISA so I don't know how to compare the parts but on mine, sometimes the clicking is because the suction cups that are inside the pump lid get out of shape and I have to smooth them out again.

Yes, I did notice the clickimg sound continues after taking the plate off (forgot about that until you mentioned it) so I wonder if it is the white suction cup (that semi-circle under the faceplate). Maybe I should check that out again.
