when do you change the nipples to the next stage/flow?

we've been practicing 1 bottle a day in preps for DC and the last couple times DH says LO is "annoyed" with the bottle and she'll only suck 5 times or so before pushing it out.  he thinks this means she needs the next flow...  does this sound right to you guys or should i just try different bottles instead?

she had been doing well the last 4 weeks with the current set up.  she is 9 weeks now.

We never changed flow with our DS.
It sounds more like she's refusing the bottle (it can happen when they get to that age). You could try a different bottle, but it may not be that either (we had trouble with the bottle with DS but after trying like 8 different bottles we wound up back with the one we started with). I think kellymom has some good info on bottle refusal.

I agree with PPs. We are still on level one at 11 months so I would recommend staying with the slow flow so that she doesn't get a bottle preference. Have you been doing paced feeding?

DH tries. I sent him the kellymom link to read on paced feedings but I'm still not happy with how he does it.  

I gave her a bottle today myself for the first time to see what would happen.  She took it, about 2 ounces, and then stopped.  I think this is an okay amount. I don't want to get hung up on how many ounces she should be taking etc.  One time over the weekend LO vomited what looked like her entire bottle feeding.  Now DH is driving me crazy focusing on amounts she'll be getting.  We have been following her cues and I want to keep it that way.
