This may be a stupid/crazy question. My left produces way less. A couple of weeks ago DD started refusing the left all together. I would try to get her on there at night when she was sleepy, but my let down was taking forever..and my guess is she only gets about an ounce out of that side. Then all of a sudden she started fussing at my right too. I think this was a combination of her being too distracted/not nursing well during the day and also being that she is refusing the left side all together she is missing that milk so the right just isn't quite enough. I pulled the pump out of the attic to increase my supply. When I pump just my left side I get drops. If I pump both sides together I get about 3/4 an ounce from left, and a little over an ounce on the right. All of a sudden I had huge oversupply in my right though because of this. So the past few days I tried just pumping the left again...and now my left is back to where I started...very little coming out, and when I try to get her to nurse she fusses like crazy and cries. I got her to get a let down last night, but it took forever. I have tried starting her on the right and moving her over, but she gets frustrated. Will I need to continue to pump both sides and live with oversupply?
