M- fish stick tacos Rest of week we're trying out a vegan meal delivery service: T- 2 bean pasta salad, bread W- tamale burgers, sweet potato fries Th- cauliflower curry, naan Fri- black bean and sweet potato hash with quesadillas S- vegan paella, tapas style sides I don't know if the kids will eat any of the new foods, so I am supplementing with lots of sides
I'm trying balance that we are moving this weekend with not wanting to make DH eat out all week right before he deploys and has to eat crap for months. So I've compromised with things that I can grill or pretty much do on foil.
Hey! It's pulled pork week! We are doing 2 nights of pulled pork from the crock pot, 2 nights of black bean salsa chicken in the crock pot, one night of leftover King Ranch casserole (though my notoriously picky in laws both ate double-helpings, so we may have to have some creative sides to fill us up! But yay me for cooking something they both ate!), and one night of pizza or Chinese takeout.
Monday -- spanish omelette and sauteed gourd soup Tuesday -- corned beef with potatoes, fried rice, and gourd with eggnoodle soup Wednesday-sweet ham, scrambled eggs, fried rice, bitter gourd with eggs Thursday-- sausage and caramelized onions in tomato sauce over rice Friday -- sauteed tuna over rice, mung bean soup Saturday -- chicken macaroni soup
