@NurseMommy13 I know the feeling. Alex hasn't asked about Grayson since we've been out of town and it's driving me nuts that he hasn't lol as moms I think we need to know how they're doing every second of the day!
Even after all the crazy traveling we have done and sleeping in multiple different beds Jameson is sleeping like a champ in his own bed alone in his room!!! I'm so thankful that he is sleeping so much better and makes me not as nervous about adding a third into the mix. Also him sleeping in his own room allowed for some awesome sexy time with my hubby tonight!
My chores did not magically do themselves ... so I stayed up to do them, and now it's super late. *sigh* there was no winning tonight. And my kitchen continues to be invaded by ants (two weeks! Ewww!). If DH hasn't called the exterminators I'm going to flip. Or just have a nice cry.
Interview today! Of course I'm nervous/excited so I slept terribly. Oh well. I think I'm reasonably qualified, and I think I interview pretty well. Of course, I applied for this position in May, when I looked neither fat nor pregnant. But they waited for the new supervisor to start and get settled before doing any hiring, so here we are in mid-July and I definitely look like I'm probably pregnant, but might just be fat. So I'm a bit nervous about that and wearing a flowy non-maternity dress instead of the suit I would normally wear. Putting on makeup for the first time in forever, and figuring out how to style my new haircut...ack!
Fortunately B cooperated and was not the reason I was up half the night.
Not sure if it was a fluke, but Jameson slept from 9pm to 7am!!!! I was beginning to think it wouldn't happen before #3 got here. I feel like a new woman getting to sleep uninterrupted.
I read all the words! I've been in a bit of a funk. And, now H came home from work yesterday pretty upset because he said he's starting to feel like they're trying to screw him. From what he said, I don't necessarily disagree. I would love to just pick up and move the eff away. There is so much history here and all kinds of crap to drag us down. As @workinit can attest, once you know someone around here, you know them forever through one person or another. A clean slate sounds nice. Anyway, I want to do something nice for H to let him know how much I/we appreciate him. Any budget friendly ideas?
Some lady yesterday thinking my sister was my daughter asked if I had anymore kids between my daughter and my son. My sister and I both cracked up and told the lady that she was my sister. I was wondering when someone was going to say something about her being my daughter.
@heelibrarian That's not a bad idea. My husband loves his goodies. Lol. Maybe I'll go to the store and get the stuff to throw that together and get the stuff for his favorite dinner while I'm there..
@tiffletons518 if he is feeling underappreciated at work, could you do like a celebration of him day? Have the kids make signs "daddy is #1" and give him the royal treatment? Like over the top, fanning him while he sits, let him watch whatever he wants to on tv, have the girls serve him snacks/dinner? It could start in the morning and you could slip notes in his lunch (or whatever he takes to work). You could put something in the car for when he gets in that is pun-ny (orange juice that says "orange we glad you're our dad") and then there is always the good 'ol BJ..
@tiffletons518 I just went out and found a card at the store that says "We are Proud of you" for DH yesterday. And we gave him some things to help him feel better at work. Not sure if you could do that necessarily unless he has mentioned some things he needs to help with work, but I do like the idea of an all about dad day or sending him off to go golfing.
Alright ladies. I finished my bottle of wine last night, and am now cutting back on alcohol. (I am not pregnant or trying yet.) I'm trying to be a bit healthier, and stop picking up a beer when I get home. I know it's hard to love tit this, but I hope you can support me and maybe keep me accountable by enjoying a drink for me on occasion.

I did/am doing this too! I try to stick to one day a week, but not like make up for the whole week in one day. Thursday nights with @workinit have turned into the highlight of the week GL! I have given credit to my cutting back for some of my weight loss! (obvi once a week is my goal, but we know I don't always stick to it)
You guys are awesome! Thank you! I know he won't go out even if I push him out the door. He doesn't have many friends and is sort of antisocial. Lol. But, I love the ideas! I'll let you know what I end up doing
My plan at this point is only on vacation or with DH on the weekend. I really want to help us get out of debt faster, and recently I've been getting a bottle or a six pack each shopping trip. hehehe.
I told H the other day that we apparently become a bunch of lushes in the summer and it's not ok. In the cooler months I have an occasional glass of wine and that's it and my H barely drinks at all. Summer hits... beer with dinner. Beer with movie. Beer with bonfire. Beer because there was a new one at the store that sounded good.
I love camo! I have 2 pairs of camo pants. DH has camo pants and shorts. I even bought KJ (not you @pitchslap since you don't like them) a pair for the fall.
I just spent my first night away from KJ. I miss her but I feel so rested! I slept until 10am (didn't know that was possible) and I'm still in the bed. It's wonderful!!!! I'm at a sorority conference and I will be going home tomorrow. I'm about to get up and go to an event then a gala tonight. Tomorrow I'm going to take myself to a movie (hopefully), do a little outlet shopping then drive home. I hope to make it home in time to play a little and tuck her in.
DC did a really adorable (IMO) craft for fathers day, I've been meaning to share it and all the ideas for @tiffletons518 reminded me. They cut out hand prints of each of the kids and attached them with a long string. It was a "hug" for the daddies to be able to take with them to work. DH was cute and insisted on wearing it around his neck for a couple of days and now keeps it at work.
Fit bit and Up users, has anyone tried Earndit where you link your device and can earn stuff by exercising? I may get an Up next month as a reward to myself and I'm thinking of linking it.

It's looking more and more like Putin shot the plane down and tried to pin it on Ukrainian insurgents. He's going to incite WW3.
