I came in because of the DD. I've had an emergency csec and a med free vbac. I choose med free birth any day over a csec! But that's my personal choice. My csec recovery wasn't bad either but I wouldn't want to go through it again. I did a bunch of research and supported a couple friends through med free births before I had mine. I was pretty inspired instead of horrified. I never screamed in agony or anything. I hope to have another med free vbac whenever my Dd decides to make her appearance but I'm also not opposed to the Epi either. To each their own.

I had a vaginal birth. Did it hurt? Absolutely. But it wasn't agony. There's a recovery regardless of the choice. And it's not pain free either. There is no magical way here to avoid pain and recovery.
