My BFF & I will be in La Jolla for 5 days next week for a wedding. We are planning on a couple hikes but are any of you familiar with the area? Any to do or restaurant recommendations? We won't have a rental car so will need to stay in that area.

    I just know it's a beach town. I've been to the Cove but it was forever ago. It's a really nice city so I'm sure any restaurant will be great there. Hiking should be beautiful too.

    Eta: it's a tourist destination specifically for the beach. Most people go there for that, the cove, and tide pools.
