DH and I put an offer in on a house today. I am really excite and nervous all at the same time. We have looked at an ungodly amount of houses down here in NKY since we moved down here a year ago and haven't found anything that suited our needs that was in our price range. Today we found the one. I am hoping and praying that the offer goes through and everything checks out with the inspection. 

This will be a huge stress relief to get out of our 2 bedroom apartment and into a house that has a year and 3 bedrooms. One for DS and one for LO. This has been one of the biggest stressors on both DH and I since finding out I was pregnant. It will also be nice knowing that if we are home owners we the pick up and move with work mantaility will come to a halt for a little while which is what we both wanted, but had nothing keeping us tied down before. 

Sorry that this is long, but any thought or prayers that things work out would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Fingers crossed for you!! I know how stressful buying a house can be! We bought ours last year and it was a pain in the butt. But just remember, it'll all work out for the best.

Update: Well getting the papers ready for the mortgage was insane, but that was nothing compared to sitting though the inspection today. I thought everything was perfect when we decided to put in an offer, the longer I sat though the inspection the more sick to my stomach I felt about the whole thing. DH and I are going to talk to the realtor more about it tomorrow, but I am ready to back out 100% I don't even want to move there anymore. I am trying to keep a level head through everything, but the list of things that need to be fixed was quite overwhelming.

Hopefully the current owners will step up and take care of the problems? DH and I were fortunate enough when we bought out house, we needed almost $13K in new windows and other roof repairs. The owner at the time fixed everything. We wouldn't have bought the house otherwise. I hope it works out for you one way or another!!

@MrsTinMKE‌ thank you for the positive words I am hoping that the owners will take care of it. There are a LOT of things that are really going to add up but only a couple that would be huge expenses on their own.
