Maybe we should resurrect them!

I think my biggest issue with UO is that I'm so tired, and I can't get it up to discuss things like I used to.   I'm afraid it will take me away from work too much.

I would rather tote around a giant bag (with many bags inside) than be a bag lady and carry a workbag, a purse, a lunch box, etc. Thanks @loislayn for my new bag to make that happen.

I have rarely gotten invovled in those discussions. There were some heated moments in the beginning that I just never cared to get involved in.

I thought of you all last night. I got my latest Stitch Fix and there were a pair of $70 jean shorts inside. Those are going back.

Chicago style pizza is gross. I had it last night for the first time (First time at Carbone's, MN ladies. Not impressed.) I thought it was just the same thing as deep dish. My poor DH who doesn't eat cheese - it was like 3x more cheese than any other pizza.

I don't engage in internet battles.  All it does is get me super pissed off and it doesn't change the other person's opinion.  I'm much better about avoiding it here.  I still get in the occasional one on FB.  Fucking, Hobby Lobby.

While DH is on paternity leave, I'm mainly on newborn duty and he's on toddler patrol. He waaaaaaaaaay drew the short stick. Feeling a little guilty, even. (But I'm relishing not handling the bedtime meltdowns half the time right now.)

ETA UO is that newborns can be way easier than almost 2 year olds!

It is a service that sends me clothes/accessories. I filled out a style profile and keep a Pinterest page full of stuff I like and they send 5 pieces. You try them on at home, keep what you want, mail back the rest in their postage paid envelope. Tell them why you are or are not keeping each item at check out and done. It is fun to get surprise clothes in the mail. There are a couple different pricing levels, how they thought a $70 pair of jean shorts fit my pricing points is beyond me.

I don't participate in the crazy debates on FB or TB because honestly, nothing you're going to say by getting all wild and irrational is going to change my opinion on the topic and it really doesn't bother me if someone thinks my opinion is stupid.  

All the Hobby Lobby stuff going around?  Don't care.  Maybe that's my UO.  I really don't care what people think about most topics.  I just love reading the crazy.  L O V E I T.  Once in awhile someone does make a really great point and it does compel me to educate myself more on something, and that's awesome, but that's the exception, not the rule.

Oh I like Carbones. I haven't had it in ages though. Steer clear of Davanni's if he doesn't like cheese.

I wanted a chocolate shake from McDonalds this morning on my way to work.  Got to the drive-thru, ordered my yogurt, asked for a chocolate shake and the woman goes "We don't sell ice cream in the mornings."  Uh, why?  When I sarcastically said "Is that a corporate rule?" she became flustered and then I felt bad for a half a second.

UO: You're a 24hr McDonalds.  You should sell ice cream all the damn time.  I can buy a stupid hash brown at bar close, I should be able to have ice cream for breakfast.

@MississsippiCatfish!   Be still my heart.  You have not had GOOD Chicago style pizza.  Now, as a native Chicagoan, I will tell you, that is not the style we typically eat - it is a bit much.  I didn't have "deep dish" until I was about 16.  We eat "tavern style" more regularly which is super thin, crispy and cut in squares.   

If you come to town, I will tell you where to get really good pizza her in Chi Town.  Or, you could book a bus driven pizza tour.  (shameless plug).

I don't engage in them because people aren't going to change their mind on most of those topics and it just ends up in arguing.  Maybe that's cynical of me, or maybe I just suck at persuading people.    There's a reason I'm not a lawyer.

Because it had furry cuffs on the sleeves, legs, and neck.  Think Santa outfit, but all purple.  With embroidered flowers.

Yes. I got a dress that fit like a glove, a maxi skirt that was actually long enough, the jean shorts that were too snug on my hips, and 2 tops. I can't really wear button ups because my boobs are so big, so the button up is going back. Other than that it fit really well. 

There are usually free 'styling fee' credits on fashion bloggers sites. I tried the first one knowing it would cost me nothing. Now, the $20 fee usually goes toward at least 1 item.

It would be more like Winifred Pearl, because it's straight out of the 1800s.  It was gifted to me when she was born, and I *think* I remember trying to give it away on here haha.  It was like $60!

Enfamil is now on my eye-roll list. I was reading the article they sent me about "after baby comes" and it says you should only eat ice chips for 24 hours after giving birth. Hahahaha. Now THAT is an unpopular opinion in my book. Seriously, I was shoveling carbs and protein within the hour both times.
