A is spending the night in her big girl bed for the first time ever.

Very excited. She's only allowed one stuffed animal in the big bed and she's got six of them with her right now. We're going to go out tomorrow for some new sheets that she'll get to pick out.

It was a bust. She had a great time hanging out in bed, and kept pretending to fall asleep, but when it came time for actually sleeping she wanted into ours. But when she woke up the first thing she did was get into her bed, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed for tonight.

It may take a bit.  We knew E was ready for a big girl bed and desperately needed one (she was falling out of hers whenever she rolled).  It took a few nights to get her to sleep by herself in the big girl bed.

Just be ready for some fall back when the new baby comes.  Especially if you bed share again with this one.  She will probably want to join you again.
