Painting with a newborn in the house?

We've made kind of a sudden decision to move (lots of different factors going into it) and definitely have a few things that need to be fixed up before we can list the house. I'll probably call the pediatrician and get her opinion but I'm curious if anyone knows any guidelines on when it's ok to paint, how long baby needs to be out of the house, etc. I'd probably buy zero voc paint no matter what, we used the Olympic brand one for her nursery and it worked just fine. Any advice is much appreciated!
