What's the Reset button on the swing do?

I have the FP Rainforest Swing and my mom uses the FP Ocean Wonders swing and I noticed the other day that they both have Reset buttons. What does it do?? Once the dials and switches are set to off, what is there to reset??

I tried pressing it but didn't notice any change...

It restarts the music and lights.

if the music & mobile stop playing you can hit the reset button and it will start again

If you are using the swing for an extended time, it shuts off on its own. Like if baby is sleeping in it, you can push reset and it will start whatever is on. HTH  I don't use mine much... if ever.

The music and the mobile only go for so long.  The only way to start them again is to stop and then restart the swing (which is a PITA) or press the reset button.

hhmm. I dont use batteries w/mine, I plug it in... I dont think the music or mobile ever turns off because of that.

Interesting though, i'll have to tell my mom what it does. Thanks!

hmm.  mine doesn't shut off (not the swing part).  DD slept in it all night a few nights ago.  I walked in her room 11 hours later and it was still going

I didn't know this...I actually called FP because I thought our swing was broken and they told me about it.  I have the FP starlight, but its the same concept and it plugs in.  I thought that the lights/music never shut off either if its plugged in.  I know that if you run it on batteries they will.  However, our lights started shutting off on their own.  This is when I called FP. Well, it turns out that the lights will only stay on continuously IF you have the music on as well.  I'm not sure if yours is seperate to turn on music and lights...but ours is.  So we had not been using the music anymore, and the lights would shut off.  So you can use the reset button to turn the lights back on.  Or if you are using batteries it can turn everything back on.

Mine just has music & the mobile spins, no lights... I'm going to examine it tonight and see what happens....

Our lights are with the mobile.  When the music isn't on, the mobile (and thus the lights) would shut off after a certain amount of time.
