I was just browsing our threads and noticed that posts made just yesterday are already on pages 4 & 5... WTF are you guys talking about?? OMG. (half the post were snooze fests anyway) 

And clearly I needed to make a post just to say this. Can you tell Im having a crabby pants, cranky kind of day. Anybody else just want to talk about something random? Because, you know, some things just dont need an individual thread.

I had a dream last night that I gave birth to my 7 week old embryo and it came out as a full size infant. I need to find a personal dream analyzer for all my pregnancy dreams.

Want to talk about my random food intake so far today?

A blueberry bagel with cream cheese, orange juice, a piece of pie, peppermint lifesavers, garlic dip and pretzels.

It's only 9:45 and I have dragon breath.

@aks01‌ omgggg. I had the same dream (except I'm 10wks)... It was the weirdest thing!! I was telling DH about it this AM before he left for work- he looked at me like I was absolutely insane.

DH had a 48-hourish summer cold that he has given to me and at least one of our houseguests. I woke up at 4 this morning googling the cold/sore throat meds I have in the house to see if any are safe to take. Thankfully I think I'll be able to make it through with just tylenol and chloraseptic, but I am horribly displeased this morning.

We told our in-laws last night. Ofcourse had to call 3 other people, because my MIL is not very good at keeping secrets lol

Motrin has solved 98% of our baby sleep problems, so I slept aaaalllllll night last night.  It was bliss.

I also actually have some nausea this morning. 

My house is a mess. I usually do all my chores before I leave for work in the morning. The past couple of days the house has been getting messier and messier.  I better go take advantage of morning nap time and get the beds made and dishwasher loaded......

I was in a fine mood today, until my DH called me to let me know (and asked me "not to be mad") that my MIL announced our pregnancy in their STAFF MEETING this morning (DH and his Mother are business partners in real estate).

Obviously the part where we told them just immediate family on Friday night went right over her head.

Ugh.

My husband texts me at 10:30 last night from his conference. When I didn't answer the first text, he followed up with "You might be in bed already ..." He's such a sweetheart, but yes: his kid ran roughshod over me yesterday. I was out cold.

I really hate when people dont respect not telling people when you ask them not to. i was 5 weeks with my last pregnancu when i tokd my family. i asked them not to tell work. next week every employee in the district knew i was pregnant. 4 days later i miscarried and for week had to explain to people i wasnt pregnant anymore at work. what i went through is the exact thing people fear going through when they ask People not to tell

Yes my mother did that to me on friday!! OMG I was soo pissed off!!! I couldn't stop crying and yelling.....worse part about it....she told me we should keep it a secret until 12 weeks....well hello mother I am 8 wks....THANKS!! SO FRUSTRATING!!!

My mom is going with me to my first appointment tomorrow!  I was hoping that she would because I didn't want my daughter sitting in the waiting room by herself when the doc does the internal exam.

At my appointment today, we had a long chat with the "insurance lady" where we went over what my insurance covers, she gave us tons of coupons and handouts, and she mentioned in passing that eating ham or turkey deli meats is fine if it's not everyday. Well. I love ham sandwiches. But this info came from the insurance lady, not a nurse or doc or physician's assistant so... I guess I shouldn't listen. She was also really trying to sell us the 3D u/s already. Geez.

@francobebe, Nando's serves flame-grilled chicken, Peri-Peri style (nice and spicy!). It's based in South Africa and is Portuguese–Mozambican cuisine. You can get the chicken with sides (lots of choices), or have it in stuff like wraps, sandwiches, etc. Peri-peri fries and red-skin mashed potatoes are my go-to sides.
