Well ladies I am on mobile and still in the hospital but first Ellie Victoria was born July 3 at 1:01pm, 8 pounds 11 ounces 20 1/2 inches long via emergency c- section.
This is where is gets crazy and emotional. After my c section my uterus would not contract to go down anymore and the drs tried manually pumping it and lots of other ways to make it go down, needless to say it didn't and wouldn't. I ended up in surgery for 7 hours. Our bodies hold 6liters of blood and I lost 5liters. I had terrible hallucinations and had seizures while under anthesia They got a specialist to come in who did something with my Fallopian tubes and uterus to stop the bleeding without having to give me a hysterectomy ( that was the worst case scenario)
I have over 1,000 staples in my uterus and haven't eaten or walked since Wednesday.
I was feeling a bit depressed wed/thurs due to the fact I cannot breast feed let alone hold Ellie for more than 5 minutes to do the pain I am in. I'm over that now and just happy to be alive as the dr described it that I was literally knocking on heavens door.
I'm so blessed to say while I am doing terrible, Ellie is perfect! She was born with highlights in her hair!! And lots of hair at that!

1st pregnancy: m/c began 1/12/09 d&c 1/13/09 8wks. Baby stopped growing at about 6wks.
