Family names vs cadence

My MN is Celeste. DD#3's MN is Celeste also (DH's preference), and I was thinking if this LO is a girl also, maybe Celeste would be a good MN because I have NO ideas otherwise. Granted, I'm only 9 weeks, but usually I'm inspired by the end of the 1st Tri (this is my 5th baby). I've got nothin.

The first names I like are Liliana & Anneliese. Celeste may make for too many S sounds with the latter, but does that really matter when it's a middle name? A family middle name, no less?

Family significance trumps flow for me, but since you've already given your mn to DD#3 I'd come up with something new for this LO.

Good point @elainelbuck‌ . I have 2 DD's (and a DS) from my 1st marriage. DH is in the process of stepparent adoption, but I wouldn't want them to feel different from their new siblings. All my kids have significant MN's with other family as inspiration for them. Maybe I've had so many kids, I am losing steam lol.

Only once have I've seen the same middle name used for all. Not sure if anyone on here watched Survivor, but if anyone recalls 'Boston' Rob and Amber...they've just had their 4th baby (all girls) and all 4 of them have the same mn, I thought it was odd when I read it, but then I'd never seen or heard of people doing that before.

I just looked it up and these are their names (not that it really matters, just thought I'd share since I mentioned it)
Lucia Rose
Carina Rose
Isabetta Rose
Adelina Rose

It's nice to use family names but it's also nice for them to have their own identity!!!

IMO it would be one thing to give *all* your kids the same middle name, but to re-use one child's name for #5 ... TBH, it *sounds* like you've run out of ideas.

I would try to find another option.

Liliana and Anneliese are both beautiful names.

My adoptive mother and younger sister and I all have the same first and middle initials AB they're Amanda Blaire and Addyson Blaire and I'm Alexis BreeAnn and I wanted to name my daughter after them but didnt want to use Blaire so we chose Adeline after my great great Gma and Blake bc hubby loved it and it sounds perfect to us! Now all four of us have the same 1st and middle initials without reusing a name. What I'm trying to say is give it time and explore your ideas and options before going with Celeste.
