Nordstrom converts bras into nursing bras!?

I just read that Nordstrom will convert any bra into a nursing bra for $10. If this is true, it will make my life so much easier. I am a hard to fit size already (34DDD/F), and I can't imagine how much harder it is going to be to find a bigger size and possibly smaller band (32 pre-pregnancy) nursing bra when my milk comes in.

Has anyone used this service? If so, please share your experience.

Okay, I just called two Nordstroms (in my hometown and my current town) to confirm. The one in Charlotte no longer performs the service because they said they had a couple people who were unhappy with it. But the one in Kansas City does it for $12, and in just a couple days turnaround! SCORE!

Wow if that is true that is so awesome. Last pregnancy I couldn't find any nursing bras to fit properly and for a long time I just used nursing sports bras. This time I was I was contemplating converting them myself but I'm no seamstress so I will gladly pay Nordstrom if that is true!!

This is great news- I've also got the small band, large cup issue and I'm worried about what it will be once my milk comes in. Thanks for mentioning it. It's something to look into.

I am so happy about this! I also have enormous girls, so finding a nursing bra has always been tough. I'm going to wear the ill fitting uni-boob ones for the first while until my supply regulates before splurging, though. I was shocked by the many sizes I was with DD.

Yeah, I am probably going to wait a few weeks to see how my size changes when my milks comes in. Hopefully it won't be too drastic and I can just have some bras I already own converted, especially since I recently bought some for my bigger pregnancy size.

For the beginning, I bought several of these:

The support is just so-so, but they will work when I'm mostly around the house the first couple weeks.
