Anyone else measuring ahead? I just got back from my 28 W appt and my uterus was measuring 31 cm...Doctor said if I was still super ahead next time he may schedule an US. Weird since at my 20 week US they said she was measuring 4 days behind...
My uterus is measuring right on time but baby is measuring a couple weeks ahead. She said he's just a little on the larger side but still within normal range.
I've been measuring 2 weeks ahead. This last time it was almost 3. I have an US for my next appointment. I also have GD, which may mean extra fluid - or big baby. He was measuring right on time at 20 weeks, so who knows? I also have a short torso and am carrying rather "centered" as there is no other place for him to go, so it could just be the way I'm carrying him too.
At my 27 week appointment they said I was measuring 31 weeks but they weren't concerned because I was pretty much in track the whole pregnancy. They think it was just the way the baby was sitting and the placement of him. They checked the ultrasound just to be sure and he was right in the 55%.
I was always measuring a week ahead with DS and I had him 5 days early. I was measuing ahead with every ultrasound and every measurement tho so I think they just got my due date wrong.
I've been told DD has been measuring 2w ahead consistently from about 12w. Had a growth scan over the weekend (@ 30w) which confirmed she's about the size of a 32w baby.
I've been measuring ahead too. I had a different NP on Tuesday, and she was mildly alarmed at how I was measuring until I laughed and said that I had a 9 lb girl the first time. She went back and checked my A/S, which noted that she was measuring in the 95% percentile then too, so it's all consistent. I guess that I'm just likely to have another big baby.
I measured 30cm at my 24 week appointment and baby seems to be staying steadily about 2 weeks ahead. Considering they moved my due date back two weeks at the very beginning, I'm thinking that maybe they were in error and my little Peanut may just arrive a couple weeks ahead of schedule. I have my next appointment on Monday and am interested to see what happens.
Definitely try not to worry too much! Two anecdotes: with my first kid, I measured a bit ahead ONCE and perfectly averge the rest of the time. Three of four docs said to expect a 7, maybe 8 lbs baby. He was 9 lbs, 3 oz at 40w4 days. I'm pretty tall and average build. Friend is super skinny and several inches shorter than I am. Docs had her worried for the last three months of her pregnancy that baby was going to be 'SO HUGE' because she was measuring really big. Baby was 8 lbs, 10 oz at 40w2days. Big, but not the scary 10+ pounds she was sure she was having. :-)
I got told at my last appointment that this baby certainly isn't measuring to be as big as my son was. I laughed.
I am measuring 11weeks ahead. I had been 2 weeks a head at almost every appt but this time she was very surprised to see me measuring 40w. She said that it could be off because of my weight but I'm going in for a growth u/s at my next appt. I'm interested to see what he weighs since he was in the 46% in May.
@mermaidsmagic That's crazy, I can't believe they didnt make you do one right then! Have you done your GD test yet? I hope all is ok and he's not like 14 lbs.

I'm measuring 2 weeks ahead Fundal Height and had an ultrasound yesterday to confirm that baby is also growing at at least 2 weeks ahead. Estimated weight at 4#, 10 oz at only 30 weeks, 6 days. Have a doctor's appointment on Monday, so we'll see what the doctor says. I'm pretty sure my conception date is correct, so not anticipating a due date change, but possibly an earlier C-Section. I also have a higher than normal amount of amniotic fluid.
My first was measuring at 40 weeks when I was 34, he was born via c-section after a failed induction at 38 weeks, 8#, 14.8 oz, docs thought he was gonna be over 10 pounds.

All kinds of options!
