@thegoodpotato‌ today was also my due date, but she was comfy and I ended up with a slurpee baby!!

I can't bring myself to read about that case, too sad.....

Can you guys let me know when you're done talking about the case? It's a trigger for me for reasons I won't talk about but I can't talk about cases like that and I really hate seeing it every few posts. I'll step away until you're through.

Walk after work with DC mom friend was a success! We have plans for the pool on Sunday!

Ben has terrible diaper rash from taking augmentin, poor guy. I needed to cook dinner, but I wanted him to have diaper free time. This held his attention for a half hour, until he stood up and toppled out. The pool wasn't filled with water, but I filled the buckets with water, which he promptly dumped, so he had some water to play in.

Big firework show for Madison is tonight and about a block away from our apartment. We'll see how he sleeps tonight.

We went to the park earlier with G and a little boy started talking to me. Asked my name and stuff. Five minutes later he runs up to me yelling my name saying he needs help. He needed a ride home since his mom left without him. I told him I would call someone right away to get him home. Called 911 and they sent someone over. Just before the cop got there I noticed a woman with a McDonald's cup. The little boy had a McDonald's bag. I approached her and asked if she was with him. She explained that his mom had to go pick up her younger child and would be right back. This woman was supposed to be watching him. So weird and messed up but I told the officer everything that happened. He left and ten minutes later the kid asked us for a ride again :-(

I am having serious anxiety. Safely in VT at my aunt's house. I've spent a ton of time up here and even lived here for a summer. I don't know why I am feeling like this, but it's horrible.

Dinner was great. The problem with fine dining is that for days to follow everything else tastes like a$$ after the meal. Like I really can't eat my regular food for at least 24 hours after a fine meal like tonight.

I'm so sorry. I know that feeling. Could it be that you are out of your routine and that is causing anxiety?

I definitely take comfort in routine, so it could be that. I hope it goes away by morning.

Just got two alerts about a dust storm coming through.  Hopefully it is not in our area since fireworks are in 2 hours.  I don't want to miss them 2 years in a row.

We got the same alert. Ummm it's not even windy? Where are they doing fireworks? Over by the Pointe?

Moon Valley country club.  I think we will be able to see them either from the front yard or the back yard.  But yes it is close to the Pointe.  it is hot as balls thought so maybe it will stay away.

The dust storm is officially upon us.  So much blowing dust.  They may cancel but hopefully postpone.  Monsoon why are you so unpredictable and start way too early.

AHHH but to see it rolling in like that is awesome.  You can't see it like that unless you are in the air or on a mountain.  They do come out of nowhere.
