6/30/13- Can't believe this was us a year ago today (24+ hours into labor) waiting for KJ to be born. I just read "The Night You Were Born" to her and bawled.

Oh and I decided to bring disposable sippy cups and fruit pouches to daycare for KJ's bday celebration tomorrow.

We do apples but shave pieces off. We tried small cut pieces but she didn't do well with them.

I'm curious how big what they call a "serving" is.

Hi everyone!!! I've been MIA- and will probably be MIA for most of the week- we are going on vacation!!! First trip with B to the lake house!

Re: the food list- we do hot dogs all the time, and apples and H even gave him a peanut the other day. Kid has 9 teeth- to use @wasnotwas 'a phrase- he could chew through a mattress.

@lioness13‌ - happy birthday KJ! And that book makes me choke up every time!

I never thought of shaving an apple so she could eat it. Good idea! About three months ago I let her take a bite out of my Apple and suffered through learning about the gag reflex. I didn't think she would take such a large bite. It was scary.

Good morning! I'm so excited that KJ's birthday is today. DH normally takes her to daycare in the morning but he had an early meeting. I was so happy that I would get to take her today. I have to go to work today so I needed that extra time with her this morning. The party is on Friday.

Ok, I can officially say that I do not regret doing both kids shots at the same time. We had a brief moment of dual meltdowns. But, DD2 is totally fine and DS and a little more cuddly, but ok. I'm glad I just got it out of the way at all once.

Anyone use the kids room at a gym to watch LO while you work out? How do they like it? Do you find time to get there?

It is so blazing hot outside that I don't want to push B in the stroller when I get home but I need to do something for my sanity, stat.

I've already made a color coded/highlighted chart to show potential workout times for DH and I. If only I could get in shape making charts and lists.

Grayson goes to the one at the Y every now and then. The ladies there know his name and he has so much fun while he's there! Never once cried when I walked away.

We have so much work to do this week (at work), 3 projects due by Monday and everyone just went out to lunch...we seriously can't afford an hour off, but now that everyone is gone I don't want to do anything...

@megsw85‌ my first day went well in that L was asleep when I left and he had a great day home with daddy, I don't think he even noticed me gone. But, it was horrible in that I still hate my job and I could have cried to be back there. Loving my coworkers really helps though. I also woke up yesterday morning with my bottom lip swelled 3 times it's normal size on one side and it's still like it. It is so painful and I've been constantly taking Advil and putting ice on it to bring down the swelling. It's either a bite, allergy or infection I'm guessing. Happy first day back to me. Yes I'm off for Canada Day today, which was a nice wade in. L woke up a million times last night with a bad cough, so looks like were getting the cold thAts going around. Happy Canada day to you and all the other Canadian ladies.

@weddinginthecove‌ - that sounds like an allergic reaction to something. Try taking Benadryl. That happened to me a few years ago a few times but I never figured it what made it happen. The only think that made it go away each time was steroids. The kind where you take 5 pills, then 4, then 3, etc...

I started watching Pretty Little Liars, and can I just say ... what in the world with these *high school* girls???  I think I might find this all a little more believable if they were in college, but then I was a late bloomer.
