I voted I gave up that alcohol because it most closely fits for me. I'm not much of a drinker to begin with- never on a weeknight and rarely on the weekends. That said, I'm not opposed to drinking while TTC it's just not my thing.
Drink till it's pink. If I am being completely honest: even after it's pink, I will enjoy the occasional glass of wine. I have a wedding on the 11th, and if I am pregnant this cycle, I will have a glass of wine with dinner and I might sip the champagne during the toast.
I was wondering who the other non drinkers were. I don't drink but I'm not against drink till it's pink. I'm not even opposed to the occasional glass of wine or beer after it's pink but that might be a UO.
I'm a not-so-much drinker as well. I enjoy a glass of wine here and there but I'd never discribe it as "regular". So, no alcohol while TTC is the choice we've made.

I've always found it interesting that alcohol gets SUCH judgyness surrounding pregnancy/TTC when other things that are just as, if not more risky get ignored.
Americans have a very strange relationship with alcohol. Somehow, plenty of other cultures find a small glass of wine or beer here and there completely acceptable throughout pregnancy - and have fewer cases of FAS than we do. And yet if an American woman DARES to take a sip of her husband's beer at a restaurant in the US, people are whispering and judging, and sometimes actually feeling like they have the right to say something to her.
I drank A LOT in the 20 weeks I didn't know I was pregnant with my son-- A LOT. I was so worried I did damage to him, I asked my doctor and did some research- you basically have to have like 3-5 drinks every day in order to do damage. . Now, obviously I don't recommend taking that route, but it does make me more comfortable with drinking occasionally for the next pregnancy.
I guess I'm drink til it's pink. However, I don't drink much anymore, mainly wine, but not every night. I've also recently discovered that I'm starting to have a super strong reaction to tannins in red wine, super red face, I get really hot, and I get horrible headaches from even one glass, (and all of my favorites have pretty high tannins) so I've been drinking less.
Right now, even though it's still towards the start of this cycle, I've got one bottle of chardonnay in the house, and I won't buy more until I know the results of this one. If we end up moving onto IUIs in a few months, I probably won't be drinking then, which is totally a personal thing.

I read a great book a couple of months ago called "Expecting Better" by Emily Oster that touches on this subject and others like it. It gives statistical data to allow the mother to make her own decisions on what to do and what not to do during pregnancy. Of course, you and your OB/midwife should always discuss these topics as well. I highly recommend the book though. It's an interesting read.
I chose drink till it's pink. With my first I didn't know I was pregnant until I was 12 weeks and within those 12 weeks I was drinking every weekend, not getting drunk just a little tipsy. Of course after I found out I was pregnant I stopped drinking and only had the occasional glass of wine. I am drinking now but it is maybe 2-3 beers on the weekends.
I actually used to be a heavy drinker. But a few months before TTC I essentially quit. Now, I keep my drinking only during AF, and it's usually just a bottle of Lambic (sweet beer). Though if I did randomly want a drink otherwise it'd be until TWW. Because of my previous habit of heavy on the liquors, I just dont feel comfortable drinking after ovulation.
I'm drunk right now...I'd like to say I'm joking, but it's world cup time and I spent half the day scraping texture off my walls. Guiness and Leffe are my friends. Oh, DH just opened a jar of pickles!
J'15 January Signature Challenge: Pinterest Fail: I want to do one, but I was late in starting and now I'm too lazy to get in on it. This is how most of my pinterest fails normally occur, at least I didnt buy supplies.

I voted drink till it's pink, but I won't be doing that during my IVF TWW. If I was TTC without dealing with IF, I would feel more comfortable drinking but as it is I don't want to chance anything.
I'm a drink till it's pink kind of girl. Before I was pregnant last time I very much planned to keep drinking an occasional glass of wine or beer, I really believe that everything is fine in moderation.
Once I actually got pregnant, I got paranoid about it and didn't drink at all during the pregnancy. So remember, it's all well and good to talk the talk, but you can always change your mind.
And you better believe I drank while I was breastfeeding. Literally, while I was breastfeeding. He had a boob in his mouth, and I had a glass in mine.
I voted to abstain during TWW. I've rarely imbibed the past few months but if I do choose to enjoy an alcoholic beverage I'd prefer to do so before the TWW because I generally abstain from drinking alcohol during pregnancy. (I'll enjoy things cooked with alcohol and God help the person who denies me tiramisu.) I didn't abstain from alcohol while breastfeeding, though.
Definitely drink til it's pink. I am not a big drinker anyway (and am more of a lightweight now since I don't drink often!) but I would not be against a drink here or there during pregnancy as well.
I am actually pretty happy about the drinking while nursing concept- I did not realize that was ok! I have a friend that would pump and dump even if she had a glass of wine so I like the idea of still enjoying a drink occasionally even after the spawn hath been birthed.
Married 9-1-12 (On Depo until 4-12) Me- 33, DH- 36
NTNP starting 9-12, Actively TTC since 9-13
My DX- Hypothyroidism. Prescribed Synthroid
DH's DX- Severe MFI- first SA results: 1.3 mill (1.2 mill motile), 21.6% motility, 2% morphology
Blood test revealed low testosterone so DH was prescribed Clomid. Repeat blood test and SA in November.
I haven't been in the TWW since I've been on TB, but I imagine around 7dpo I would start passing on the alcohol. As such, I voted the implantation one. So I guess I'm on team "drink until there's a chance it might actually turn pink".

Pumping and dumping - when drinking - is one of the dumbest things to do! It won't make a difference because alcohol does not get stored in breastmilk. It leaves it the same way as it does with blood.
I don't drink until cd1, and then if I have a bfp, then I will occasionally have a glass of wine or cider after 1st tri. I very rarely drink more than 1 bottle of cider or glass of wine, so I usually have half of that if at all.
@KatzKiss, thanks for the book recommendation, I'm gonna order it! Does she only talk about drinking alcohol, or is there mention to anything else (Antidepressants, per se?)
