siggy warning.Hello,
I hope it's ok to post this. First, let me say I lurked here a lot after my 17w loss last year. I had the D&E so I never felt ok to post, but the miscarriage board didn't feel right either. Reading your posts and stories of later losses helped me so much, so thank you for that passive support.
I'm writing today to ask if you might be willing to join a vigil we are holding on LGBT for two of our long-term members who lost their twin daughters last week at 21 weeks. One was born sleeping, and one was born and survived about 1 hour. The couple, Manada & Healz413, had a year-long IF battle, and ultimately did partner IVF (Healz eggs, Manada was carrying). She had a cerclage and was on bedrest, but ultimately an unrelated infection seemed to be the root cause of their loss. Their very heartfelt post about their loss is located here (
link).
Today, we are holding a virtual candlelight vigil on LGBT which was cross-posted to the other boards they were active on (IF, PAIF, TPR, TTT and Multiples). I expect they will intro here once they come up for air. Today they are holding the funeral/memorial, so we are doing the vigil in honor of that. Here is the post about the vigil on the LGBT board (
link).
I think other loss moms can offer so much (after my loss, I only wanted to talk to/get support from other loss moms) - particularly when the loss is 2nd or 3rd tri - and so I thought I'd invite you all to join us. I know this community is amazingly supportive, and I hope it's ok that I posted.
Take care, and I am very sorry for the losses you've experienced.
