My husband swears by them. He used them with his daughter and refuses to use any other brand. He says they're better than Pampers. I will still try other brands with our baby, just to make sure. You can't trust men to be right about diapers.

I'm sorry, but that rubs me the wrong way. My husband was a single father for 6 years. He did everything from diaper changes to potty training to homework. It's bullshit to lump all men into the same stereotypical sitcom father role. It's one thing to say that every child is different and so you want to try out different diapers to find out what will work best for this child, but to completely disregard his actual experience because he is a man is the dumbest and most offensive thing I have heard all weekend. dumb.
ETA: This is not the most offensive thing I've heard all weekend, I was just ragey for a moment. Carry on.
Sorry to offend, it was supposed to be light hearted and possibly funny. My husband is an excellent father, but on the frugal side so I mostly question his value vs quality approach. Certainly wasn't implying that he's sub-par as a caretaker.

No worries. I totally jumped down your throat and had no good reason to other than it annoyed me slightly.
I don't know Kirkland diapers cost but after size 2 from pampers I switched over to up&up the target brand which are way cheaper and I have had no problem with them. I just like the super soft swaddlers when they are tiny.
I've also heard good things about Up and Up. My mom's already bought a bunch of Pampers, but I am thinking about making some of the first diapers we personally buy be the Up and Up just to see how they compare.
I'm going to check it all out--diapers.com and Amazon Mom vs. Up and Up. If I have to go Pampers, I'll definitely go Amazon Mom or diapers.com. Just looking around, those two places seem to be the way to go if you have to have a certain brand.
I looked up the cost between the up and up and kirkland and the up and up are cheaper by about 2 cents per diaper
This! With the coupon Costco has right now, they are likely cheaper than the Up and Up brand but with normal prices, I think Up and Up is usually cheaper. Target also always has a 5% off coupon on their Cartwheel app for Up and Up and pretty often offers a $10 gift card if you buy two boxes of Up and Up.
I was a die-hard Pampers fan until I tried Up and Up and I haven't looked back.
