This is a thread posted daily for any of us who need to get out our frustrations about waiting to O, the 2WW, or vent about our cycles. If you find yourself checking FF obsessively, MF is getting the best of you, or you just want to pee on all things, let it out here!

In order for the conductors to be better able to help you, please make sure you either have a FF chart link in your sig, or make sure you post a link. Don't chart? You should consider it, not only will it give you a lot more insight to your cycles, but conductors will be able to answer a lot of your questions just by looking at your chart!

The CT is not the place to post a BFP. If you have a "squinter" or if you have a line that appeared after the time frame, please do not post about it here.  Take a step back from the board, test again with FMU, and good luck!

I'm so frustrated. It's two days in a row that I don't get a reliable temp. Yesterday it was because my husband woke me up to get back into bed after sleeping no the floor because his back is acting up. Today, the alarm went off at 5:07 am. I temp at 5:30 usually and in that moment while the alarm was going off I was tempted to temp before getting up. But, when I realized my husband couldn't move because of his back I had to get up and see what the hell was going on. Turns out one of the cats managed to break out this morning. I temped a few minutes later but now I'm second guessing that temp and with yesterdays temp I feel like FF wont pick up on the right O date. And, you know how type A I am; I need to know my timing.

@ PinkCamino I think you are ok since there was not a huge jump. Temping makes us all crazy. I hope tomorrow will be better.

I'm sorry your chart got all messed up.    As a fellow control freak, I know how stressful it is when you don't get reliable temps on critical days.  BUT you can probably still get a pretty good idea of when you O based on tomorrow and the next day, and you can always override FF if it can't pick it up.  And your timing is good regardless of where FF actually puts your CHs.  You got the day of your +OPK and the day before, which are high fertility days!  If DH is feeling okay, you could try again today and/or tomorrow, but regardless, you have good timing.  Big (((((HUGS)))))

Explain your Crazy here: I'm starting to hate the fancy digital OPKs I'm trying for the first time this month...whenever I see that smug empty circle I just want to TP it because it makes me feel like I'm broken somehow. I've started to hurl insults at the empty circle. It's not even 10, and I've peed on 3 sticks (2 diggies and one old-school cheapie). The cheapie OPK gave me the darkest line I've seen, while I can't see any difference in the blue lines that are visible after popping out the diggie (Clearblue).

FX you get a smiley face soon!  Do you know when your typical O day is?

Thanks :-)  I usually O CD 16 or 17--based on past OPKs and a pattern of physical symptoms that is pretty consistent (slight cramping/twinging, skin breakout, and change in CM). I know the best thing to know for sure is temping, and while I understand that it is super helpful for others, the thought of it just stresses me more.

Oh okay, well in that case, FX you get a positive this weekend!

Ugh! I am frustrated!! Our air is going out in our house (read it is HOTT!!). Today when I woke up and temped I had a HUGE spike compared to yesterday, now, of course, I am worried FF will say I O'd when I dont think I have. I usually O around CD20, so it's almost time, but I dont want it to say that I did when I didnt. Grrr....I am worried that with the air going out my temps are going to "falsely high" and I do NOT like that. This is prolly going to be our last "natural" cycle and I just want to make sure my body is still doing what it's supposed to. Weird, but I need that reassurance.

How frustrating!  Are you using OPKs?  I would highly suggest it if you feel like you're not able to get accurate temps because of the A/C.  An OPK would help FF a lot and probably help ease your mind, too!  FX that FF is able to figure it out!

I do use OPKs but my surge is so short, I end up missing it half the time. I travel a lot for my job so I am not able to use them as much as I would like to to catch my surge. I.E. I need to test twice a day to catch it. Bleh!

If it did, we hit the timing perfectly. If it didn't, then I'm going to jump off a roof to avoid another solid week of sex and phantom symptoms.

Hmm, are you pretty sure that you got it right?  I know with mine when I turn it on later, it will flash my previous temp for like a split second and then it displays like 97.7 or something like that...

Oh, well FX you catch it!  You should definitely note if you ever get an almost + just in case you miss it...it could be somewhat helpful combined with your temps if you have an idea of when it was.  Good luck!

I didn't understand the bolded parts.    But I would keep HIO for a few more days to be safe, and FX you get a nice temp rise very soon!

So jealous of all you ladies out there trying to pinpoint your O times or in the TWW. I'm on CD44 and still waiting for my post D&C period. I had one day of very light spotting a couple days ago and then nothing. I just want AF to rear her ugly head so I can start TTC again. I'm so frustrated I want to cry. It's like my body is betraying me by not cooperating. I started temping (because that gives me some sense of control) but don't have enough temps to really note a pattern or a coverline at this point.

Do you think it's worth giving my OB a call about not getting a period 6 weeks post D&C or just let it ride for a while longer? My OB did say he was very "non-agressive" for the D&C so I'm worried that I might have retained tissue. My pregnancy tests are still turning positive even though I haven't had sex since the D&C. Any advice ladies?

I would call your doctor's office and let them know that you are still turning a pregnancy test positive and see if they will get you in for betas.  Mine did when I was still getting +s after 6 weeks, and they tested me down the rest of the way from that point.  It's not outside the realm of what is normal, but it is on the later side and they may want to make sure your numbers are dropping appropriately.

I waited over 100 days for AF after each d&c. Call your doc and see what they suggest.

(((HUGS)))  I'm sorry for the BFN and temp drop.  It's possible that the AC could affect your temps, and you're not out until AF shows, but I personally assume I am out if I have both of those things at 12-13DPO and any other outcome would just be a happy surprise.  (((HUGS)))

Mine is a RiteAid cheapie and 97.70 is the default temp.  I bet it's the same one!

The bolded was something I found out while playing with overlaying my charts. I alwaya hit 97.3 right before O. I looked it up, and apparently a lot of people have an "O temp". It's neat!
