Oh! Oh! Can I answer? Since I'm still considered a newb around here?

1) Donuts. Even though they're not technically a dessert. I could eat then ALL THE TIME!

2) Who doesn't love Nutella? It's delicious. It's chocolate. It's "healthy". Those are all wins in my book!

3) Yes. While I love bananas, I don't like the smell of their peels in my garbage.

4) YES!

5) I've only watched it once. So I feel I can't make a proper call on this one.

6) it's not my cup of tea. But I don't judge someone who does.

7) As long as it's MK doing the thread jacking, I'm cool with it

1. What is your favorite dessert? I refuse to pick only one: Cheesecake, Tres Leches cake, Pecan Pie, usually anything with nuts, caramel or chocolate (or all three)

2. How do you feel about Nutella? I like the taste but it is soooo unhealthy.  It makes me mad that they advertise it as a nutritious breakfast for kids.  Its just spreadable chocolate.  We don't eat it in our house.  Sorry.

3. Would it concern you if a banana peel was in your garbage? No. (And I guess I haven't been around enough to know what the correct answer should be).

4. Do you laugh at TBumz jokes? Yes, but not in a newbie thread.

5. Do you like the movie Mean Girls? I haven't seen it *gasp* 

6. Profanity on forums...yea or nay? Eh, I'd like it if you didn't cuss like a sailor, but generally I'm fine with it.

7. What is your tolerance level for thread-jacking? Eh, medium?  I don't mind thread-jacking but I hate it when there are jokes and legit answers going on at the same time.  Its too much reading.

@Welly01 the banana peel thing isn't actually an inside joke.  I just happened to learn about it on the this board.  Some people are bothered by the smell of banana peels.  So much so that they'll bag their peels before they put them in the garbage as if throwing away something akin to a dirty diaper.

1. What is your favorite dessert? pumpkin spice latte cheesecake. I make it myself. and it's the bomb.

2. How do you feel about Nutella? I actually think it's terrible. Like an entire box of Ferrero Rocher was concentrated into one TBS.  I love some Ferrero Rocher, but Nutella is just too much for me.

3. Would it concern you if a banana peel was in your garbage? Only if it was right on top. Banana peels go in the compost bin. But if it was way down underneath other trash, not gonna pick it out.

4. Do you laugh at TBumz jokes? I can't say I do. Not b/c I think they're dumb, but I never really got the full background on the TBumz story, so my general understanding of them just isn't enough to warrant a laugh.  Maybe a Sheldon Cooper chuckle?

5. Do you like the movie Mean Girls? I've only seen it once. And if I"m going to watch Lindsay Lohan, I'd prefer to watch her in The Parent Trap.

6. Profanity on forums...yea or nay? Meh, the occasional cuss word doesn't bother me, but let's not go overboard.

7. What is your tolerance level for thread-jacking? I'm cool with it, I suppose. Unless I'm still looking for legit answers and the little yellow notification on the post tricks me into looking at it again, only to be disappointed.

If it's a serious thread, not crazy about it. If it's a lighter thread, I don't mind as long as the OP gets an answer.

Oreos. Brownies. Cake. Pie. Peanut Butter cups. Or you could put all of those together.

Does anyone really dislike Nutella? I love it but not as much as I love Peanut Butter.

3. Would it concern you if a banana peel was in your garbage?

No. But I hope to start composting one day so it might concern me at that point.

4. Do you laugh at TBumz jokes?

While I myself do not laugh I am beginning to understand that there is something funny about them. I don't know the whole situation.

I've only seen it once but I know it's big on TB.

Hi ladies! I didn't give a real intro before jumping in last week so thanks for the basic manners reminder! 

1. What is your favorite dessert? Hershey's Chocolate Cake. The recipe is on the Hershey's Cocoa box.

2. How do you feel about Nutella? I don't let myself keep it in the house because I have impulse control issues.

3. Would it concern you if a banana peel was in your garbage? Yes, because it belongs in the compost.

4. Do you laugh at TBumz jokes? Sorry, idk what that is

5. Do you like the movie Mean Girls? Um, yeah it's fine. Apparently I need to watch it again because it is THE ONLY MOVIE that matters on TB.

6. Profanity on forums...yea or nay? I swear like a sailor. I try to use "effing" on boards but I'm not always successful. I'll use pretty much every other swear word without thinking twice. Except the B word. I'm really working to give that one up.

7. What is your tolerance level for thread-jacking? I'm guilty of having done this so I tend to be pretty tolerant of others. I mean, it's basically a conversation and when we have those irl they get off topic and no one flips their shit, right? Also, is the thread super serious and someone comes in with some random post about wearing pink? Or is it more of a chit-chat thread and someone asks a related question? This is a complex issue that needs serious consideration.

I'll play! I think I miss a lot of these conversations because of the time zone difference, and then it just feels lame to chime in after they've lost momentum.

1. What is your favorite dessert?

There used to be restaurant in San Francisco's Richmond District, called Clementine. They had a warm chocolate tart with a gooey center, served with a scoop of coconut ice cream and a sprig of mint. Heaven.

2. How do you feel about Nutella?

I'm a recovering Nutella-holic. I obsessively dipped pretzels and Ritz crackers into it during my first year in grad school, as a way of supplementing my diet. 

3. Would it concern you if a banana peel was in your garbage?

Yeah, because those belong in the compost bin, yo.

4. Do you laugh at TBumz jokes?

Not in newbie threads, at least not recently. If someone were to do something truly clever with a TBumz joke in a newbie thread I will probably laugh. But it's been the same thing for a while. Meesh has been hitting all the right notes in the UO thread today, though.

5. Do you like the movie Mean Girls?

YES!

6. Profanity on forums...yea or nay?

Same as IRL ... if overused it ceases to mean anything. If I choose to use it then hopefully I've given it a good bit of thought, and taken a pause before hitting the post button. 

7. What is your tolerance level for thread-jacking?

I welcome it. It adds spice to my day.

I'm not a lurker but I'm new so I'll play!

1. I can't pick just one! Cheesecake, ice cream, chocolate...

2. I'm not a big Nutella fan. To be fair, I haven't had it in years, but I didn't really care for it when I had it. I think that my main issue was just that I don't like it spread on things. If I were to just eat it out of the jar with a spoon, it would probably be okay lol

3. That's where we put them usually. We have the botanics collection bin but we have been terrible about using it lately. We also have a bin that we could compost with out back but it is not my kind of thing so I don't want to bother with it.

4. Yes.

5. I've only seen it a couple of times (and it has been a while) but I enjoyed it.

6. In moderation. 

7. I don't mind it, as long as the OP does get some answers to their post.

3. Would it concern you if a banana peel was in your garbage? Yes, I hate it when people visit and put compost or recyclables in our trash. Or worse, they put trash in the recycling because it's so much bigger than the trash can so they get confused. I always feel really awkward throwing away compostable items at other peoples' houses as well.

Not a lurker, although I tried to be one a while back.

1. What is your favorite dessert?  Trifle.

2. How do you feel about Nutella?  I like it, but Kroger does a store brand that I like better because it's crunchy.

3. Would it concern you if a banana peel was in your garbage?  I feel like this is a trick question to see how I feel about composting.  It wouldn't concern me now, as we don't currently compost.

4. Do you laugh at TBumz jokes? Only the funny ones.

5. Do you like the movie Mean Girls?  I've never seen it, but from what I've heard, I wouldn't like it.

6. Profanity on forums...yea or nay?  Yes, but not profanity for the sake of profanity or shock value.  I think there's usually a better word that can be used.  This is also my feeling about profanity in general, not just on forums.

7. What is your tolerance level for thread-jacking?  Pretty high, unless it's a question thread and it gets jacked before the question ever gets answered.

2. How do you feel about Nutella? Not a fan. Hazelnuts are just not my thing.

1. What is your favorite dessert?  That's a hard one - but I'm a sucker for really good ice cream.  Black raspberry chip is to die for.  Massive hunks of chocolate make it all the better.

Ok so I have been a lurker for awhile, but mainly because my LO isn't due till September and while I have all this new fluff in the closet, I can't flaunt it on a cute little bum yet. 

 

1. What is your favorite dessert?

Ice cream (Froyo when I am trying to be healthy) , cupcakes, Reese cups, really there isn't much I don't like in this category! 

2. How do you feel about Nutella?

I can't buy it or keep it in the house because it wouldn't last long between myself or my DH. Whenever I used to babysit I would dip pretzels in it and that is my fav way to enjoy it!

3. Would it concern you if a banana peel was in your garbage?

No, there are plenty in my trash now!  The only way I got any protein in the first trimester was a PB and banana sandwich.

4. Do you laugh at TBumz jokes?

Yes, I was not here when it started so I am just learning.  The link to the Etsy shop today really helped as it showed how poorly made they are in the pictures.

5. Do you like the movie Mean Girls?

Absolutely! Lots of Mean Girl's gifs on my birth month board, plus my DH's jr officer is a girl and she keeps saying she is going to force him to watch it while they are deployed.  I almost packed my DVD in his sea bag last time they deployed.

Same as IRL - all in moderation.  It won't turn me away, but I try to control it myself.

I can tolerate it pretty well as long as I still get the help I needed.

Hi there! Expecting my third next week, this will be the first that I use cloth with during the newborn period.  I've lurked and learned so much from this board!

1. Cake, cake and more cake.

2. Nutella is best eaten directly from the jar with a spoon or Nilla wafer. Or finger.
