Why do we have such high views on threads yet low replies?!!! 

LURKERS JOIN IN!! Even if you think your response is stupid or already said just post it. I'm capable of skimming anything i don't want to read. This is how i envision you guys....

I do that too but i'm sure there are some creepers out there just cautious to post! 

PS I say creepers in a fun friendly way.

I also think a lot of the views likely don't "belong" here. Peeps from other boards that just read. It would be us lurking on a "large families" board or something.  Sometimes I lurk things like this because they make me feel good about my life, haha!  Or for the wow factor.  On the opposite spectrum, people with large families simply wouldn't understand or get the position of anyone OAD and might lurk/read for the same wow factor.   We have a board that many won't understand, and I bet a good chunk of views may result from that.

But I'm sure we have lurkers that lurk, too.. for whatever reason.  Jump in, guys!  We only bite a little

If I open a thread, I try to comment even if I don't have much to say-- but I will admit to re-reading a lot of threads-- esp the ones of late with all of the lovely support I have recieved RE my personal life.  So maybe others do that?

I lurk for the most part, and read when there are new posts on a thread I'm following. Usually I just don't have anything to add or it takes too long to comment.

I can have no yellow flags.  It would bother me.  It doesn't bother me on other boards that are bigger- I don't have time for that.  For some reason it bothers me here, and I always need to open and clear them.

I have OCD tendencies...I re-open every thread on page 1 whenever there's a new post because I don't like the threads looking different in the list.

...I can't be the only one who does this, right?

I read mostly while I'm in meetings so I can't comment without being obvious. I try to come back to the ones that I really have something to say on but I'm old and I forget which ones those were by the time I get home later.
