Random bitch/vent: I hate that breast milk doesn't keep her full as long as formula does. I am working my ASS (well, boobs) off trying to get my supply up - I pump 6 times a day in addition to nursing her in the morning - and if I'm lucky, I can make 4 3 oz bottles. Now, granted, this is a big improvement since before the domperidone I was making maybe 1 and a half bottles a day, and I have another 8 weeks on the meds, but still. She takes 8 bottles a day on average. The breastmilk goes through her in 1.5 hours! I think I make a lot of foremilk and not as much hindmilk so she's not staying full. On a formula bottle we get more like 2.5 hours. I'd feed her more but she just spits it up. So we do the lesser amounts more frequently. I just wish the breastmilk sustained her longer...so much effort for so little time.
RIP Dr. Irving Fishman - 10/1/19-7/25/10 - thank you for holding on for me. You made my wedding day complete.
It has been very windy in Nebraska (not sure if that's the norm) and I went to target and bought some toys for E. When I was trying to put it all in my car the cart kept rolling away! I was fighting with cart and trying to get everything in my car all while I had E in my Moby wrap. I'm pretty sure anyone watching got a good laugh!
And for that reason, I sometimes think shopping carts should have wheel locks like strollers do, so you can lock/unlock while loading/unloading them.

Can you mix bottles half and half? That's what we do when we don't have enough BM for the day!
@EML2011 - we've done that, but I find this way easier to prepare the bottles. I also realized that she had really bad gas today and when that happens all she wants to do is eat, so today may have been a bad representation.
