Now don't get me wrong, I love the weed whacker and actually enjoy practical gifts (particularly if they help in the yard/garden as I LOVE working outside) but just sometimes, something a little special would be nice. DH has never really been the romantic type.
LOL! This made me laugh because my DH is SO the romantic type; my gifts are usually massage oil, candles, jewelry, etc. But I'm such a practical person that while I love his thought and effort sometimes I just wish he'd put that money into buying me what I really want...a finished pantry in the basement BAHAHAHA.
I understand appreciating practical gifts, years ago DH bought me a Dyson for Christmas and my mom was so bent out of shape about it. It was fine with me though, I LOVE my vacuum. I will admit I LOL'd when I read your post though.
