To me its confusing though if someone says I went to the store with E yesterday.  I have no idea who E is.  Spouse, child, friend?  If you want to write out husband/child, etc. that's fine.  But initials are confusing.

Here's an UO:  After finally trying WAHMs, I've come to dislike the process.  Trying to get a TT diaper is RIDICULOUS!  All these wait lists and groups, etc are just confusing and frustrating.  There's no instant gratification, lol.  I don't care who I'm supporting when I buy BG.  After all the diapers I've tried, they are still my favorite.  (Although, TT is unfortunately my favorite ON fitted.  So from time to time, I may have to temporarily join the madness to stock up).

Well in this case, why bother even posting the detail about E at all? 

Add it if it's relevant, like if the story is either 'I went grocery shopping with E and I'm exhausted, she just wouldn't stop touching everything or trying to run away from me' or 'I went grocery shopping with E and the cashier was blatantly hitting on him even though I vas standing right there.'

Otherwise nobody cares that you went shopping and that your child or husband also happened to be there. Nobody probably even cares that you went shopping at all, tbh.

I don't use initials for my husband or son because I like to remain somewhat anonymous on tb.  I'm afraid that my sleep deprived brain will just type out the full name if I start using initials.  So y'all are stuck with me using DS and DH.  Andplusalso...I'm a narcissist

When I was first learning the meanings of dd/ds/dh etc....someone told me the d meant any adjective that started with a d that you wanted it to.....so dh could mean damn husband if you wanted it to, not just dear or darling.

I've always regarded these acronyms to be somewhat sarcastic, for this reason. Which I like.

I dislike the acronym LO because it seems impersonal, but I do find it funny that LO and DH are DS and DH's initials, respectively. It took me way too long to figure that out.

We have the same onesie.  And if I ever have a daughter, nothing she owns that I have to buy her will ever say Princess or Diva.

I hate it when masseurs talk during the massage.

I can't stand it when men wear flip flops.

Our adorable little just turned 4 neighbor girl comes over to ask DD#1 to play.  But she rings the doorbell. All. the. time.  I have 2 babies so the likelihood of one of them sleeping at any given time is pretty good.  She is not so adorable anymore.

I've never done a group but I've had no problem scoring at the stockings. Now what's ridiculous is trying to score a CLC.  Now that's impossible.

I've been able to score at a few stockings as well.  But my mouse has to be sitting over the buy button the SECOND it goes live.  10 seconds later, everything is sold out.  When I first started to try to buy one, I didn't know that.  I would check 10 minutes after the stocking started and everything would be gone.  I was like "what the frick!!".

UO: I don't think that people should go around talking about their faith or asking others about theirs. Faith/spirituality is an internal personal journey. There isn't a need to talk/ask about it unless you are at a place/meeting of which that is the point. (this isn't aimed at Jepes, it just made me think of it)

ETA: Faith OR lack of faith - applies to both. Aka Atheism billboards are just as annoying as Jesus billboards.

I often wonder how many people are really recruited with the door to door sales tactics of some religious groups.  It's got to be so few.

I agree with this.  Unfortunately I think most faiths teach and encourage it.  I was raised in a very religious house but as I got older, I just didn't stay involved.  I consider myself a Christian but I'm not active at all.  My mom is VERY religious and most of the time if I'm telling her something I'm worried about she always manages to work in something like "God will work it out" or "just pray about it".  It just doesn't apply to me anymore and its irritating that she doesn't get it.

Very good points. It is habit now and well I'm a narcissist so I'll stick with DH haha I don't talk like that everywhere, or even everywhere online, but when I don't know people well, it is just easier for me to make sure I'm being clear I guess

It's funny.  IRL, I keep a lot of the things I believe strongly in to myself, unless I'm talking with someone I know will be interested.  Whereas, DH goes around blabbing to everyone all the stuff that we do and I'm like "Shhhhh. No one needs to know we use kitchen cloth!"

ETA:  The last time my BIL came over, DH started telling him all about how I sew my own mama cloth.  I was mortified!

Another UO (or confession, rather): I never use OTC pain meds, because I feel like if your discomfort is so minor that it can actually be alleviated by Tylenol, then you can just suck it up. (My sister and husband have both argued strongly against me on this). However, I love nasal decongestant spray. I've been addicted to it multiple times in my life because I use it too frequently and for too long for every cold I get.
