We had a pretty productive day.  The older two boys got their hair cut (Mav is boycotting the barber chair)  We went to a birthday party, and the kids got lots of play time, and we went out for ice cream after.  I am now outside watching Levi and Mav play wrestle on the trampoline.

At the ILs now. I thought when I was tagging along that people would be here lol. MIL and the kids are all at a pool party. At least there's satellite tv and A/C.

DH said he would get me in n out for lunch as a consolation for hanging by myself though

@ShakeyJakey - rinse the seeds reallllllly well before cooking. The cleaner they are, the lighter they taste.

My kid napped for 2+ hours and is playing by himself in the sandbox. Dinner and bedtime will be fucked but I don't care right now because I've got my feet up in the backyard. We may end up with takeout.

Wtf. I'm pissed bc the damn 30 dollar temporal thermometer I just bought like 6 months ago is not working right. Its keeps reading "Lo" and isnt giving any actual temperature reading allof a sudden. I've cleaned the lens and changed the battery. Nada. Wtf! Damn thing was working yesterday!

Mine did that when the thermometer was too cold. We keep our place cold in the winter so I would stick it down my shirt for ten minutes to warm the electronics and then it would read.

i was skippin in heaven the only time i was ever in a TJs.  hmm, i'm doing this hippie thing all wrong.

 

i'm at work now and just fuming, trying to keep my anxiety level down.  about to go eat dinner and read a little.  i technically could read now but i look more productive typing and scrolling and clicking than i do reading.  i don't know who i'm trying to look more productive for, my boss don't really care as long as my work is done.  being new is weird.

Some lady at the store LOLed when she heard me threaten DD as we were leaving. 
"I can still put those fruit snacks back!!!" I said.

Just got home from the BBQ/bring me a gift party. I did note a few gift bags in her dining room but am guessing the guest to gift ratio will be leaving her disappointed.
