  • Oh and if you haven't decided, which is the case for me, just vote SS.  I should have included that option!

I was super lazy and did a Facebook event invite.  It was easier and took me about 5 minutes.

I wanted DH to do paper invitations, but he stalled so long that I wound up having to send out evites to give people what I felt was sufficient notice.  I think it worked out fine, though we did have to have one phone-call invite for DH's grandma with no email.

  • I did FB and 2 paper invites. I created a invite just for her scrapbook. No one I know RSVPs anyways so might as well save the postage.
  • We did paper since we'll have a fairly decent crowd and its her first birthday. Next ones will be evites

  • We're having a small family gathering more than likely.  B was born on July 5th so we'll probably have his birthday party on July 4th along with the July 4th celebrations.  I live in a small town and we have a condo above a restaurant in the downtown area so we have fabulous seats for the fireworks over the lake that our patio faces.  So...as much as it might be a small family gathering, it could also be a huge party because we usually end up with a lot of townie friends coming upstairs to watch the fireworks.

    Either way - no invites.

We did paper invites. I was too excited to not send out paper invites since this will be our first birthday party in our new home. We are first time homeowners. :)image

  • Invites went in the mail last week! I designed invites and got them printed at Target photo. I considered saving money and doing electronic, but felt the need to mail them out. By designing myself and printing as photos, I cut down on the costs!
