Hematoma?

Anyone else's LO born with a hematoma? They told us before we left the hospital it was from her coming down the birth canal and will subside anywhere from 2 weeks to 2 months. It's on her right side of her head and I just feel bad for my baby girl

I did as a baby. Mine was right on top of my head and I was bald! Lol. My parents were instructed to do the same- nothing. It did clear up and you would never know. I think it took longer than 2 months from what my mom has told me.

My 1 week old son has "stork bite" on his eyelids. I was told the same thing as you. It was from the journey down it it will disappear in time. They did say that if he gets upset or angry we might see them reappear durning those times.

Don't worry. I will go away on its own.

I knew a LO who had it on her eyelid. Her parents said it was quite big at birth but her now being close to two I forgot she even had it as it's barely noticeable. So hope it goes down or away for your LO.

DS was born with a mark on the top of his nose. My MW said it may go away. I don't mind it though. It's cute on him

I got stuck in the birth canal for quite some time and was born with one. I look like a lopsided cone head in all my early pics. I believe mine was under the surface, so it just made a big lump and no strawberry.
