it's less about parenting technique and more about how to thrive as a mother by simplifying life, not playing the comparison game with other moms, and not living a parenting life filled with anxiety over every decision. i'm only part way through, but I've found (with the aid of insightful discussion from others) that by not living in a constant state of "survival mode", i'm better able to handle the struggles of the three-year-old because I'm not caught up in a bunch of other stuff as well--if that makes any sense. i highly recommend it
Does it have any advice for getting out of survival mode if I'm already not doing these things?
