I'm looking into getting a video monitor for my twins. Does anyone have one that they love?

I tried to search to see if this has been covered already (I mostly hang out in my the march14 bmb). Since my twins have started to sttn, I'm probably going to be transitioning from the co sleeper to their cribs fairly soon. DH and I held off on getting a monitor since the boys have slept next to our bed since they came home almost 3 months ago. I'm looking for recommendations for video monitors. They will eventually be in their own cribs, so, I'm not sure if we'd need two cameras or just one that will pan tilt and zoom. TIA :)

  • I have the Moterola MBP36. It has one camera that can pan around the room. It is easy to move the camera to see each baby. The battery life is not great and it does not block out white noise. I would buy it again.
  • I think I'm going to get the Motorola one mentioned above- a friend has it, and the picture is pretty clear, but the battery life on the monitor is terrible. She just leaves it plugged in.

  • We have the wifi baby (on sale now at Babysteals.com) and we love it. It isn't repositionable but that doesn't make a difference. It has night vision and we can watch them on our phones and computers. It is a very secure signal too.

  • We recently bought the Motorola MBP43 from BRU. It came with two cameras (I bought a third in ebay) and I love it. Our Summer Infant one that we had previously constantly lost a signal and we haven't had an issue yet with this one. It pans, tilts, zooms, plays lullabies, has an alarm (haven't tried it), and you can talk thru it. Haven't had any issues with battery life yet either. I plug it in overnight and then when DS decides to nap, I have it unplugged and it definitely lasts 3+ hours. We will see how it does when the twins get here.

  • I have the Withing Baby monitor and it is absolutely awesome. My son is 8 months and it is a dream.  I bought it on amazon for 249 and its a dream! I will be using it for years and years to come!

    Features that I love..

    1) It has color in the day and night vision in the night so I can always see my son
    2) I can access his nursery at home and see him and his nanny interacting and this mean the most to me when I went back to work because he was only 1 month old
    3) I can talk to him through the monitor by using my i phone (works with smart phones)
    4) it  has a nightlight and lullaby musics
    5) Its portable but we have ours installed on the wall and it covers 3/4 of the room so it can definitely monitor twins
    6) I have wifi on my phon so i can check on my son from the hair salon, work, anywhere!

    Cons

Just a 3 second delay but I don't think you will find a monitor any better with video
